Alex's Mistake

A/N: I suck at writing just doing it for fun. I own nothing. this is probably a one shot that randomly popped into my head after reading a few fanfictions about smile and Alex's words to Bobby after Leslie is taken away.

"I use too." god why did i say that to Bobby. I'm now at the svu and Bobby is nowhere in sight. I see Anderson coming over to talk to me. He says Bobby got a ride back to 1PP. Now im scared that means he probably is running from me or his feeling now.

I get back to MCS and Ross immideatly calls me into his office to ask what happen. My head falls and I spill everything even the part about how i use to worry about my career being tainted by him. Ross huffs and say I see, well Bobby came back here and told me that he would like to resign from MCS and NYPD to explore other options. I now know why. Ross asks "Do you think Bobby tainted your career?" I sigh and say "No he made me better at having to know a why rather then just a who like many cops like to figure out. I nearly went mad on materinty leave when I went without talking to Bobby for a few days. I screwed this up big time, Hopefully I can make it right between us. Captain is it okay if the paper work waits till tomorrow?" He smiles and nods and says "Go you both need to clear the air."

I leave 1PP and drive to Bobby's Brooklyn apartment. I see his truck out front; that must be a good sign. I go in and take the stairs trying to calm my nerves about this whole conversation. I get to his door; knock. I'm shocked when a girl with fire ball red and orange hair answers the door. I say "sorry wrong apartment I was looking for Bobby Goren." Thats when she knocks me out with her statement "this is Bobby Goren's place he subletted it to me as he went to California to find work. I know he had some contacts out that way."

I gain back a bit of myself and ask how she knew Bobby. She smiles and says "I'm kinda his niece but not by blood or anything just my dad and him go way back. orginally I was gonna stay with him while going to John Jay but he had a falling out with his partner and told me to just stay here.

This girl narrows her eyes at me and says "wait are you his partner at MCS?" I nod she just looks through me.

I start to says something to this girl but she says "save it your mouth has done enough damage for one day." she then closed the door in my face.

Then I hear her talking to someone. She says "yeah it was your partner and I told her your plan; need me to do anything else."

A/N: was the girl on the phone with Bobby or was Bobby Actually in the apartment you decide.
