A/N: Just finished watching The Boost Job and this popped into my head. Enjoy.

You're a menace, Parker!

Get over it!

Those were the words they had yelled at each other just hours before as the hitter suffered through the pain the thief had indirectly caused.

They'd both had time to think about their words. After Eliot had calmed down, he was able to see where Parker was coming from. He himself had deviated from a con to help a child. Though the kid wasn't a part of the con like Parker's was, he could understand why she felt the need to help.

Eliot had allowed Parker to come back to his apartment with him after the job was finished, knowing that if he said no she'd just break in anyway. They hadn't spoken but the silence was comfortable.

She sat cross legged in front of him on his bed, her hands gently smoothing over the bandages on his ribs that she had so carefully wrapped.

His eyes slid closed at her touch.

She placed a kiss on the bruise on his temple before moving to softly press her lips to the one on his cheek and finishing by pressing her lips to his.

She pulled away as his eyes opened, her look saying what she didn't.

I'm sorry.
