It was 2 o'clock in the morning Percy was sleeping. He WAS sleeping. The faint buzzing of his phone had woken him up. who would be calling now! Percy thought. He looked at the caller id. Annabeth. He was instantly awake. What could've happened? Percy thought as a million ideas swarmed through his brain. He clicked the little green button.
"Hello, is everything okay?" he asked
"Hello is this Percy?" a strange voice asked.
"Yes...Why?" he asked hesitantly.
"Okay well hi I'm Annabeths roommate, Lauren. She's shouting your name in her sleep, and I'm afraid to wake her up."She replied
"its okay I'm her boyfriend, ill be right over" Percy said as he quickly changed into some jeans and his jacket and ran out of his apartment.
LINEBREAK
Lauren ran to the door as soon as she heard the knock.
"are you Percy?" she asked him. He nodded and his face paled when he saw Annabeth. She was pale and thrashing about with tears streaming down her face. Percy crouched down beside her and stroked the hair away from her face. Her eyes snapped open . Tears filled her eyes when she saw Percy, and she threw her arms around him and sobbed loudly.
"I-I-I dreamed you were gone" she said in between sobs.
"Its okay wise girl, I'm here. It was just a dream."Percy replied. Lauren just stood in the corner, astounded by the amount of affection and protective instincts coming from both of the others. When Annabeth finally quieted down, Lauren realised that Percy and Annabeth could go through anything together as long as they had each other.
