Hey people! I've been working on different stories for different categories, but I wanted to work on Camp Rock for the LONGEST time and finally sat down to do so! Hope you like! Love, Alex
Blush
"Look at this sky, Mitchie. For once, just this once, I believe it's almost as beautiful as you." Shane murmurs in my ear. The color rushes to my cheek. Thank God it's night, so he won't see me blushing.
He presses his cheek against mine. "You're blushing." He says softly. Darn! I giggle. "I've been caught." I reply just as softly.
Shane turns on his side and faces me. I mimic his attempt. "I could stare into your eyes all night if I wanted to." He tells me. I focus on his face. He smiles, a hot, crooked grin, and his eyes light up.
He's truly beautiful, so beautiful he make me blush. I'm always blushing when I'm around him. He'll say something sweet and my cheeks will become rose red. He finds that cute. He loves that quality about me. He loves how I blush, how I laugh, how I smile.
"What are you thinking about?" he asks me. I clear my throat nervously. When I'm around Shane, I can hardly breathe, let alone think. He makes my world go round. He makes my heart race.
"You." I say boldly. He laughs lightly, his eyes shining like stars. He presses his lips against the corner of my mouth. I feel dizzy as he moves his lips directly on top of mine. I close my eyes to keep from passing out. He pulls away and I open my eyes.
He smirks. "What?" I ask, letting my self-conscious side take over. He touches my cheek, trailing the tips of his fingers down my cheek to my jaw line. Smiling, he traces the outline of my jaw. He presses his lips against my jaw and drags his mouth against my face until he touches my lips. My head spins again.
"You're blushing again." He murmurs against my lips. I laugh softly and pull back. "I can't help it. It's the way you make me feel. You make me feel…alive. You make my blood pump and my heart race." I pause. He kisses my earlobe. "Continue." He whispers.
"I think…I think I love you, Shane." I explain. I exhale slowly. I had to keep my cool. Shane pulls back and his eyes meet mine. "I don't think I love you." He says softly. I stand up, quickly. He follows my move and grabs my arm. "Wait, Mitchie! Let me finish!" He cries out.
I stop and face him, ignoring the hot tears that are threatening to fall. "I don't think I love you, because I KNOW I love you." He tells me. I look away. "You're doing it again." I say quietly. He touches my cheek. "I have that effect on people, Mitchie." He jokes.
I look into his eyes. He kisses my cheek, my lips. I feel his lips everywhere. I pull away, intoxicated by his scent. "You certainly have that effect on me." I whisper. He laughs. That's my favorite sound in the whole world. Shane's laughter.
"I don't have to think when I'm around you, Mitchie. Because I just know. I can be me, I don't have to be a rock star! I can be myself, Shane Gray, not the Connect 3 Shane Gray, but the real Shane Gray. I love you. You are my world, Mitchie. My everything." He touches my cheek.
"I love it when you blush. It lets me know I'm not the only one who's nervous. I'm not the only one whose blood is boiling whenever we touch. I'm not the only one who is in love." His lips touch mine briefly before pulling away. "It lets me know that you're all mine, Mitchie. And no one is taking you away."
"I'm not leaving you, Shane."
"I'm scared you'll be taken away, Mitchie."
"No one will take me away, because no one makes me blush like you do."
"Keep blushing. It lets me know you're still mine."
