The Note
A Pincest one-shot
"Dipper? Are you there?" Mabel gently calls out as she open the hatch to the roof of the mystery shack,
Dipper turns around to see his sister stepping out onto the roof and as she straightens herself out Dipper notices how she almost sparkles in the late moonlight, many thoughts began running through his head but they all focused onto one origin point "She's is so beautiful"
Dipper shakes his head and clears his throat "Hey Mabel what's up?" he asks quickly turning around and staring out at the dark forest, Mabel carefully walks over and stands beside him "Well I found your note on the fridge saying you wanted to talk" She says showing the note
Dipper looks up lightly at his sister, noticing the way the light reflects of her eyes, "uhm y-yeah, it's kinda important" He answers starting to fidget and sweating, "Well what is it bro-bro?' She asked slightly worried by his reaction.
Dipper finally stands up still nervous but trying to stay calm, "Mabel.." He says softly as he turns to face her, as he does his eyes meet hers and they just stare at deep into each other for a few moments
Thoughts began to flood into his mind "how will she react? Would she be disgusted with me?" he thought these to himself but he knew that he had to tell her or it would eat him up inside, he knew if he didn't tell her he would forever regret it.
He swallowed hard and gently grabs one of her hands and the brushes her hair gently to the side with his other hand "Mabel, you are always there for me, you have helped me more times then I can count and I just want you to know that I love you Mabel, I have for a while now" Dipper looks away slightly and waits a few moments "she probably hates me now" he thinks to himself but with in the moment of thought he feels a pair of arms wrap around him and holds him close
"You big dummy, why did it take you so long to tell me?" Mabel says sniffing slightly
Dipper carefully wraps his arms around her in response to her feelings tears streaming down his face
"you knew?" he managed to say through his sniffling
"Of course I knew you big dummy" She says pulling away just enough to rest her forehead on his,
"I'm your other half Dipper, you can't hide things like that from me" dipper let out a small chuckle
she was right after all, about being his other half and about hiding things from her,
The two of them sit on the roof and watch the stars above all the while hold each other in the others arms.
