Everynight in my dreams

I see you I feel you

That is how I know you go on

Far across the distance and space in between us

You have come to show you go on

Near far wherever you are

I believe that the heart does go on

Once more you open the door

I believe that the heart does go on and on……..

"Oh Ross." Rachel sighed. He wrapped his muscular arms around her tiny body. Her traveling out fit laid on the floor next to his brown sweater and his corduroy pants. The bedroom was dark except for the glow of the Pottery Barn candles and the half filled wine glasses. Wrapped in the orange comforter, it was a celebration. A celebration of love as the couple vowed to each other that this was it and there would be no more breaks. Rachel had gotten off her Paris flight and ran back to the man she would love forever. Ross held her close in his arms and smelled her hair. He breathed in everything that would now be his. Rachel was pressed tightly against his chest , but she could inhale the faint smell of his cologne and the sweat pouring off his chest . She ran her manicured fingers through his black hair and then began to look into his eyes as if she was seeing them for the very first time .

"I can't believe I am here with you." Ross said. "I thought I had lost you forever." He sighed as he held her close. "I knew you still loved me." He whispered in her ear.

At that moment the phone continued to ring. It had been doing that for the past hour. The answering machine gave the familiar message "Hi this is Ross , I am not in at the moment but if you would leave your name and number…." The voice following was very familiar. "Ross, it's your sister. We just want to know you are going to be alright."

Rachel giggled. "You know you really should pick up and tell them." Ross hugged her . "Nah they'll find out tomorrow. Let's just pretend tonight we are the only people in the world." He said as he planted a kiss on her lips.

"You do realize we have a daughter to pick up tomorrow as well?" she said seriously.

"Tomorrow we will bring Emma to her new home. A home where she will have a mommy and daddy who love each other very much. But just for tonight, we have each other. We have seven years to make up for." Ross said as he began to kiss Rachel's neck and hold her body in his arms . He held her as she loosely laid in his arms. Her golden brown hair kept falling in her face. She kept trying to push it away so she couid see her lover. He then began to kiss her breasts and then slowly move his fingers into her panties. She tingled with excitement with each move he made. With her mouth wide open, she began to gasp and moan as he found the perfect spot. Wrapping her legs around him, she held on for dear life. Her head was now being pounded against the brown head board. It was like getting on a roller coaster as she climbed the hill called ectasy.

"Oh Oh Oh." She moaned. He began to make her get louder with each thrust. Her moans turned into yells. "Yes, oh yes. Oh yes." She cried as he went deeper into her.His face showed that he was indeed working, but it was the most pleasurable work that a man could do. He grunted and squealed as he drilled into her. Finally with one thrust, he was done.

She sighed and then collapsed into his arms, dropping over like a rag doll. He reached over to the nightstand and took a sip of wine. His reward for a job well done.

"That was incredible." She said breathless. Rachel was wrapped in a sheet and reaching for her own glass as well.

"You always said I was good at the stuff." He smiled.

"Well, I think we should do a nightly reading of Sex For Dummies then. And I think I am going to send a thank you note to your "colleague" at work who bought you that book." She laughed. "I could use some more wine." She said as she dumped the empty liquid from the wine glass to show it was empty.

"You want some more wine?" Ross said as he got up from the bed, totally unaware of his nakedness. He walked to the kitchen and opened the refrigerator. "I guess I 'm out. " he yelled back to the bedroom.

"If I had some more wine. I won't act like a lady. I promise." Smiled Rachel as she walked out of the bedroom garbed with a sheet like a toga.

"Your wish is my command." Ross said. "I think an occasion like this calls for champagne though.I'll just put some clothes on and run down to the liquor store." Ross pulled his clothes off the chair and pulled on a pair of sweats and his Knicks sweatshirt. "I will be right back. Now give me a preview of what 's to come?" he said slyly. Rachel pushed her lips against his. Ross forced himself away. "Don't lose your place, I love you." He said as she shut the door. "I love you too." Rachel sang through the door as she realized he was gone.

Everything right now was so perfect. Only a few hours age, he and Phoebe were driving home from Newark. He thought that Rachel was going to fly to Paris and then she would be out of his life forever. He started to think of that last night while they were making love. Rachel gone. He had to tell her , he was still and maybe even always in love with her. As he slammed the door to the empty apartment, he slammed his keys on the apothecary table, collapsed on to the leather sofa completely exhausted. She was gone.

Creature of habit, Ross checked his messages. As he sat on the sofa, he recognized the female voice. It was her. Something about how she was feeling awful about the way she left things. The next thing he knew , she was fighting with some flight attendant about how she wanted off the plane as she declared her love to this man and how she had to tell him. Rachel did love him and she wanted to come back to him. Ross was on the edge of his seat, did she succeed ? Did she get off the plane? He grabbed his coat, he didn't know if he was heading to that airport or if he himself would en route to Paris, but he knew he had to find her.

As he opened the door, she was standing there with tears in her eyes. "I got off the plane." She said tearfully. "This is where I want to be." Rachel threw her arms around Ross as they vowed that this was it and there would be no more breaks. He had to smile at his lame attempt at humor. "Unless we're on a break." Rachel gave him a deadly look. "Don't make jokes now." He mumbled to himself and then him and Rachel began a marathon of sex that started in the living room of his apartment and ended in the bedroom.

As he walked down the street, he seemed to whistle. Yes, he had Rachel back and they would pick up their daughter tomorrow. All of sudden it seemed like the future was looking so bright for Dr. Ross Geller. Maybe soon , he would even take Rachel to the planetarium as he said he would do so long ago, and then propose to her. Then Rachel would be walked down the aisle by her father and in front of their friends and family, she would become his. The dream of a million lifetimes ago would finally come true. The very thought of his perfect life brought a smile to his face.

Ross walked into the liquor store. He spotted the bottles of wine , yet none of them was good enough. He would pick up one and then shake his head. Outside of the store, another man was getting ready. He pulled the stocking cap over his head and then he checked the bullets in his gun.

Finally Ross saw the perfect one. He was not one who like to waste money and was considered very frugal. He saw the price on the bottle . Three hundred dollars. It was a bottle of Dom Perignon. The finest bottle they had in the liquor store. Ross sighed. This was a special night. He was finally an uncle and Rachel and him had decided that they would be together forever. He took out his credit card. Boy if him and Rachel were going to be together, he would have to stop this. She had very expensive tastes and she loved to shop.

"Is this all?" the young girl said as she rung up the bottle.

"Yep, tonight is a very special night. I am finally with the woman of my dreams." Ross said happily.

That thought brought a smile to the young clerks face. Unfortunately as she was closing the register, the man was walking into the store. He was holding a revolver and stuck it right into the face of the clerk.

"Alright doll , give me all your money." He said brutally. Ross had slowly started out the door , but the gun man turned to him as well. "Oh it looks like somebody else has some money." He said looking into the bag. "Very nice, okay mac, give me the watch." Ross put down his bag and then took off his watch. "And the wallet too." He gruffily said. Ross handed over his wallet. The clerk opened her register and was shaking like a leaf. "HHHHHeree you go, please don't hurt me." She started to cry.

Within minutes, there were police cars outside. "You bitch, you must have set off the silent alarm." The robber said. He took his gun and then he fired off a round of bullets. The clerk was slumped over the counter. Ross knew he had to get out , but he didn't make it and the robber fired at him. Falling outside on to the pavement, Ross hit his head and was unconscious. His shirt was soaked with blood.

Rachel heard the sirens from the bedroom, wrapping herself in Ross robe she went to the living room. He had been gone a very long time. She hoped he was alright.
