"Stop! I give, I give!" Amoly gasped out from the couch.
Mikey gave a lopsided grin as he stopped tickling her. With her doe like eyes shining in mirth and her head tilted, he found her to be quite endearing.
Like looking at a puppy begging.
He shook his head at the latter thought. Mm... maybe not.
"You better not eat the last slice of my pizza next time then dudette." Mike said with a chuckle. At that Amoly started to giggle and once she started she couldn't stop.
"Uh-huh, it's official folks! Amoly is one-hundred percent crazy!" Mike said as if he were a referee on a big T.V. show. The female mutant stopped laughing at that. "Aw come on Amoly, don't look at me like that!"
"I'm not crazy. Maybe a little-" Amoly started to say with a frown.
"Sh! You didn't let me finish!" Mikey said as his girlfriend started to sit up on the couch. He cleared his throat as he locked eyes with the girl of his dreams. Then deepening his voice he said, "Crazy beautiful."
"Aw!" Amoly gushed, her cheeks flushing. "That's the sweetest thing you've ever told me!"
Mikey's baby blue eyes widened in surprise, "Really?"
"Nah," Amoly said easily. Then with a gleeful glint in her eyes she added, "More like the fifth."
"Now she tells me." The orange masked turtle said as if he were wounded by her words.
Amoly rolled her eyes playfully. "Whatever Mikey."
"Okay," Mikey said more sincere. "How about this? When I try to think of things other than you, I find myself thinking about you even more."
The pink clad mutant turtle gave a wide smile, "Getting closer."
Mikey scooted closer to his girlfriend while he said in a soft voice, "At times I feel like my whole world is a dream. Then I see you and I realize that even if my whole life was a dream, I'd never want it to end."
Amber brown eyes widened as cheeks darkened. Again Mikey scooted towards her until they were touching. Gently he scooped her onto his lap and then he gently grasped her left hand. It was then he started to play with her ring finger.
"You see this finger?" Mikey asked. Amoly could only nod as butterflies attacked her stomach. "The most beautiful thing is going to be wearing my wedding finger on it some day."
"Mikey." Amoly whispered, her eyes starting to glisten.
A strong silence enveloped the two before the usual outgoing turtle tentatively touched the love of his life's face. He traced her features meekly as if it were his first time, memorizing every inch possible.
Amoly was drowning in it all. The way he was touching her, as if afraid he'd break her. It was too much. Not to mention the overflowing love she felt for Mikey that was coursing through her. She decided to let her eyes close, she didn't want to snap out of this blissful dream.
Suddenly she felt something wet press against her lips and the feeling she felt inside of her exploded within her. With the kiss they shared, she did her best the convey all that she was feeling in it.
Mikey matched her every step of the way.
After a while they broke apart, breathing heavily. They rested with their foreheads against each others. Mikey breathed in deeply as they both locked eyes.
"I love you Amoly." He said, searching her gaze.
Amoly's breath caught in her throat, he had finally said it. She had longed to hear those words for a long time and now that they were said, a feeling even greater than the first bubbled inside of her.
"Amoly?" Mikey asked concerned. "Are you okay?"
Finding her voice, Amoly whispered happily, "I love you too Mikey."
At that the poor boy's smile almost cracked his face. "That's good- I mean great- I uh-"
"Shut up Mikey." Amoly said right before she kissed him.
He didn't say a word.
