Summary: The gang talks to Clark about his movie preference. An "alphabet" fic.
Disclaimer: I do not own them!
Author's Note: An author on one of my Buffy lists wrote an "alphabet" fic. A fic where every sentence starts with the next letter in the alphabet. She said it's supposed to help with writer's block. With how many fics I've been pouring out, you'd think writer's block isn't a problem, but it is! Lol. I hope you like it.
Mars Attacks
"Alright, Pete. Okay," Chloe said, putting a hand up to stop Pete.
"But bothering you is too fun," Pete told her, his grin lighting up his face.
"Can you just go over there?" Chloe asked, pointing across the room.
"Don't be mean," Lana told Chloe, a smile on her own face.
"Everybody thinks I'm being mean. I'm just trying to work," Chloe exclaimed, gesturing to her laptop.
"Fine," Pete said with a heavy sigh. "I'll go sit over thereā¦all by myself."
"Good, now go," Chloe answered, going back to her computer.
"Hey, you guys. What' up?" Clark asked, strolling into the room.
"I am trying to get some work done," Chloe said, giving Clark a warning look.
"Just smile and keep walking, Clark," Lana told him, trying not to laugh.
"'Kay," Clark agreed, walking to the couch where Pete was currently pouting.
"Let me see," Pete said, reaching for the movie in Clark's hand.
"Mars Attacks?" Lana asked, her eyebrows furrowing.
"Never pictured you for the corny alien movie type," Chloe said, swiveling in her chair to look at her friends.
"Oh, maybe something like Independence Day," Lana said, moving from the arm of the couch to sit on the edge of Chloe's desk. "But not something that bad."
"People screaming to get the alien's heads to explode?" Pete asked, his eyes widening. "Come on, this is a classic."
"Quite the good movie," Chloe teased, rolling her eyes.
"Really, it is," Clark agreed with Pete.
"Seriously, Clark. What's with the movie?" Lana asked, turning her eyes on Clark.
"That's all they had," Clark said, bowing his head.
"Unless you went to a real movie rental place instead of to the school library," Chloe pointed out, smiling at her friend.
"Very observant of you, Chloe," Pete told her.
"Well, I don't have time, and I wanted a movie. If I knew everyone was going to pick on me, I wouldn't have left it out," Clark replied.
"X the movie, Clark. Why don't you guys come over after Lana gets off work and we'll watch some real movies?" Chloe suggested.
"You always have the best ideas, Chloe," Clark said, standing up. "I'll go return this one."
"'Zig Zag' is a good movie, I've heard," Pete suggested as Clark walked out of the room.
