Reflections…
Mackey….Nene sighed and leaned against the wall of the skyhook.
Will he ever be the same? Even if we do defeat Galatia….what if I can't find his memory? Or if I can't figure out how to download it into him?
These thoughts had been daunting the youngest member of the Knight Sabers since she had first seen Mackey after he had sacrificed the last of his memories to save Priss, Sylia and Linna. She had vowed then that she would destroy Galatia and save Mackey.Nene looked over at the other two who had come with her. Priss and Linna. She sighed and dropped her armored arms to her sides. Why does everything always have to be so hard to do? All Nene wanted was Mackey back. She had always liked him. But she had gotten weirded out by the idea of dating someone a year younger than herself. Now that she thought about it, it wasn't that weird. Two maybe three would freak he out. But Mackey was almost her age, just a few months younger…
"Nene, time to go…" she heard Priss say quietly as she put her hand on Nene's shoulder. Nene nodded and stood.
"I don't think that Mackey could forget someone who is as important to him as you Nene,"
Linna's words still rang in Nene's head long after they had been said. Is she right? Nene wondered. It had taken them a while to get to where the Skyhook's pickup port had been, Nene had visited Mackey constantly on they're trip there. He always looked at her when she spoke and seemed to recognize her slightly.Nene walked slowly behind Priss and Linna towards the exit to the Umbrella. Mackey's last words rang in her head too…
"Nene…Take care of Sylia for me…" Nene nodded to herself and stepped through the door.
Don't worry Mackey…I'll get you back….
