"You forgot the towels," Connie informed, holding them to her chest. He also noticed the clothes she was cradling.
"Those were…"
"…under the bed," she finished. "Also needing a wash."
"So you're leaving…"
"Tomorrow—in clean clothes. And this," she smirked, gesturing to the old T-shirt and boxers she was wearing, "doesn't quite cut it. No offense."
He pulled her to him, dirty laundry and all.
