I notice you.
I notice the way your eyes crinkle in the corners when you laugh too much,
And sometimes your eyes sparkle with tears of joy.
Or when your eyes shine with this silent smile that is never directed toward me.
I notice the way you walk, and what hand you use to push the hair out of your eyes with,
You're right, it's always your right.
And I notice how you always take your quill out first when you walk into class. Every. Single. Time.
I notice the way you talk and joke with your many friends.
I notice the way girls look at you with this awe-struck expression when you're turned around.
And I notice how jealous I am.
I notice how you usually have enough good nature to snipe back at me when I say something rude and harsh.
And I notice how triumphant you look, much like your Quidditch face when you win a game.
And then I say something back and the look disappears in an instant.
I notice the way you look at some people and I notice how I desperately wish it was I you were looking at.
And I notice how you never notice me.
