It was in the middle of the night when Zero felt someone near his bed. He was not too concerned for his safety for he always had his gun on him no matter where he was or what he was doing, so when he pointed the gun at her head Yuki wasn't really surprised. She just looked into his beautiful lavender eyes, and thought about the reasons she left him for Kanname in the first place. For almost two years now she had asked herself this question, but it only seemed to make the tears come more frequent, as they did now.
When Zero saw her tears he yearned to wipe them away, even though she was now the very thing that he swore to kill, he still loved her. He was pulled back to reality by her familiar soft voice. "It's okay Zero, pull the trigger I'm ready to die, only if you're the one to do it. I love you and always have, I'm sorry that I left you for him. I was confused and didn't understand what was going on with me and still don't quite know, but if this is it then, I am ready."
Zero looked at her as she smiled a very sad and lonely smile at him. How could he even think about shooting her, he loves her more than his own life. He lowered the gun and stood up to embrace her as her small frame shook with her silent sobs. As he held her he breathed in her scent and said "I would never shoot you Yuki, I love you and would die if I ever thought you were gone from this world."
Yuki looked up at him through tear blurred eyes and smile while wrapping her arms around his neck and started sobbing into it. As she did Zero held her and made comforting sounds to sooth her so she would stop crying. She smiled with delight as she held him closer while repeating, "I love you. I love you. I love you."
He lifted up her chin so she was looking at him and said, "Are you sure you want to stay with me?"
She smiled warmly through her tear damp eyes and said "Of course I do that's why I am here."
He smiled and slowly brought her lips to his and kissed her softly. As he was pulling away she grabbed the back of his head and pulled him back to deepen their second kiss. He didn't refuse, but he slowly tightened his grip on her waist and brought himself closer to her so there was no remaining space between their bodies. Yuki sighed with delight and ran her fingers through his hair. They kept this up until she could no longer breathe. When he pulled away from her lips he kept his hold on her. When she slumped against him he lifted her up and put her into his bed. He went to the bathroom to splash cold water onto his steaming face. When he came back he crawled into bed with her. He pulled her close to him and buried his nose between her neck and shoulder.
Yuki was startled awake by an arm gripping her waist, when she turned her head, she saw Zero's calm beautiful face. After realizing where she was the pure blood smiled kissed her hunter's lips softly so as to not wake him up. The plan failed miserably as he jolted awake from the soft and warm touch of her lips. He shifted his eyes only to see Yuki. The smile that took over his face made the pure bloods heart flutter in her chest. He was happy to see that it wasn't a dream his subconscious conjured up. When Yuki saw his smiling lavender eyes she smiled internally because they were hers and no one else's. Felling his grip tighten on her waist as her pulled her closer to his warm naked chest.
Wait his warm NAKED CHEST! she thought and closed her eyes to try and calm down the blushed at the feeling of his skin touching her.
Zero confused was about ask why she pulled away, and then saw her peek down at his chest. He smiled when he understood what was causing her behavior.
At that exact moment Zero's bedroom door flung open as someone came barging in yelling "Yuki is missing!"
I am soooooo sorry that this is not an update. I have been going through the chapters and editing them. I promise that I will be updating more frequently from now on, so bare with me. :3
