A humorous one shot
with our favorite dragon emperor Herb and his goofy lackeys Mint and
Lime. Have fun.

The Ultimate Test
"Come on Lime, you can do it!" said the little boy known as Mint.
Lime grunted and strained, his powerful tiger muscles rippling and twisting as he worked. He hadn't wanted to do this, but everyone else had failed and he was the only one strong enough to do this. Herb would have taken care of this, but he had other responsibilities as the emperor of the Musk Dynasty.
"Come on Lime put your back into it! Herb-sama will be back anytime and we have to be done before then!" Mint said.
"Shut up, I'm doing my best!" Lime grunted. He began to twist and strain, grunting with every movement. Even with his strength there was a chance he wouldn't succeed. He wasn't throwing in the towel yet though. Herb had given him a direct order and wouldn't flag in his determination.
Lime stopped and panted. Lord this was hard. He hadn't had such an opponent since he had fought that boy Ryouga in the woods.
When he caught his breath Lime stood back up and applied his muscles again. Now he could feel it coming. Yes, he could do this!
Suddenly a cramp ripped up his arm and Lime fell to the ground with a yelp. He began to massage his arm with his other hand as best as he could. Soon enough the pain was gone and he resumed his business.
Mint suddenly grew nervous. "I hear footsteps! I think Herb-sama is back!" he whispered.
"I know, I know! Just let me work!" Lime shouted. He had come so close. He couldn't fail now.
Veins bulging and muscles flexing Lime couldn't go on any longer. He set the object down and panted. His muscles ached and they would be very sore for a period of time. That wasn't anything worry about though. What worried him was that he had failed Herb.
Sure enough the lord of dragons appeared in the doorway. He looked annoyed. "Have you succeeded yet Lime?"
Lime lowered his head in shame. "I am sorry Herb-sama. I have failed. Even my strength was not enough for this task." he moaned.
Herb sighed. He hadn't been expecting Lime to fail. If his power could not solve this dilemma, then what could?
Herb picked up the object and twisted it with all his might, but it didn't budge. He'd have to try something different. He focused his ki into his arm and a blade of energy surrounded it. He swiped at the object, but the blade dissipated upon contact!
Herb leaped far away from the object and leaped into the air with his arms out. "Soaring Dragon Spirit!" he called out and flew past the object in a blur. There was the sound of supersonic ki blasts bouncing off of the walls followed by more thuds as they slammed into their target. However the object was completely undamaged.
Herb sighed again. This was not good. This was not good at all. And to top it off, Lime was going at it again.
"I don't believe it." Herb said. "Can't anybody open the peanut butter jar?"
