The song is Dirt Road by Jason Aldean, country singer. This refers to Jack and Kim but this is a true story of me and a guy I like. I know it's a little late to be posting this as it is November now, but yeah, I just felt like I had to get it out there. Has nothing to do with Kickin It but Jack and Kim are in here.

Kim POV

My family entered the fair to meet with another family. One that we've been good friends with. I've been friends with their son since we were born and my parents and his have been friends long before that.

It was the October Fest. I've gone every year, but this one, was special. I was going on rides with him all night.

As soon as we got in, we met at the tent, where we were meeting. My eyes fell on him. He didn't notice me yet.

We all walked up and greeted each other. He turned around and smiled at me.

"I knew you wouldn't ditch me." He said. I smiled back.

"I came for the rides." I smirked. He turned around and started walking towards the swings, the big one that goes around up so high. We got in line.

The sky was just falling, the sunset barely visible. I leaned on the fence and watched all the wimps on the swing screaming.

'Babies.' I thought, and smiled. He shook the fence next to me and I looked up.

"Our turn..." He said, as if he'd said it a thousand times. I rolled my eyes and walked up to the empty swing. I was a two seater with a chain seatbelt and a bar.

I sat down next to him.

"Gonna scream?" He asked.

"You'd like that wouldn't you?" I smirked at him.

"Why?" He asked all innocent like.

"So I would get scared and you'd put your arms around me and make me feel all warm inside. Well, it's not gonna happen. At the least, you'll be needed some warming up." I said, hoping I didn't make him bored.

"Yeah... right." He said, looking at the ground as we went farther from the ground.

"Don't look down, you might fall." He said.

"Thanks for the tip." I said sarcastically. Like I didn't know that.

We started spinning about 100 feet in the air. He put his hands up. Under the tent, I saw my parents and his having a good time, drinking beer.

'Of course, I'm driving because I'm the responsible one.'

I heard the band from under the tent say some words.

"Okay, we got a request. Hope ya'll enjoy this." I knew the song very well. It was a country song, I was a country girl.

It was, Dirt Road.

"I love this song." He said. I nodded in agreement. He started singing to the song and I laughed. He was a terrible singer. I looked at the sky. The sun had completely gone down. It was all black. Except for the stars. I marveled at them, and laughed again.

"What, you think you can sing better?" He said. I looked down at him. The lights from the ride made his eyes sparkle. I smiled, and started singing.

"Yeah, I'm chillin' on a dirt road. Laid back swerving like I'm George Jones. Smoke rollin' out the window. An ice cold beer sittin' in the console. Memory lane up in the headlights. It's got me reminiscing on them good times. I'm turnin' off of real life drivin', that's right. I'm hittin' easy street on mud tires." He smiled. I smiled back.

He look down at my hand and took it in his. I look down at our intertwined hands and smiled even harder. We both looked up at the same time.

This was the best night ever.

This is a one-shot. Hope ya'll liked it. Ha-ha, yeah, I don't say 'ya'll' often but it is true that I'm a country girl. I don't live in the country, but my dad rubbed it off on me. This is a true story. I was the girl and the boy my best friend. If you're out there, this one was for you, Sam.
