Invisible Ties

Elsa and Anna can vaguely remember of a young prince who played along with them until he vanished at a young age of five. Elsa didn't think of him often before, just once in a blue moon. After seeing Kristoff and Anna together, the memories emerge from the dust. (KristoffxElsa)

Prologue

"King and Queen of Floren, I would like to introduce my young daughters, Elsa and Anna of Arendelle." King Andor's voice boomed throughout the large hall. There was a proud smile plastered on his young face. Queen Katherina of Arendelle's lips tugged into a grin as she watched her two young daughters courtesy to the pair of royalty.

"I am Elsa of Arendelle," the young girl with snow white shoulder-length hair said with ease. Her azure eyes gleamed from the bright light of the crystal chandelier above them. She stood straight and quickly smoothed her dark purple dress.

"I am Anna of Arendelle," the younger sister said, struggling with her words as she went. She gave them a large toothy but charming smile, fixing a tress of her strawberry blond hair. Her blue eyes glittered from excitement, she adored meeting new people.

Together they said, "It is an honor to meet you."

The queen of Floren giggled lightly, covering her mouth with her gloved hand. "It is our honor." She turned slightly behind her and pushed forward a young boy with blond hair split down the middle. His cheeks were a bright tinge of pink. The bashful boy looked as if he desperately wanted to hide behind his mother but stood straight. "Elsa, Anna, please meet our son Klaus."

The young boy bowed his head, which quivered as it went down. When his head came back up again, his face was a deep hue of red. "I am Klaus of Floren," he mumbled so softly that only the two daughters barely heard.

"Come on now Klaus, courtesy to them." He said, after moments of not hearing a word.

"B-But father…" The timid boy started.

"Excuse me your majesty, but we both heard him." Elsa said without a hesitation. She didn't mean to sound rude or intrusive but she simply stated the truth.

"Yes we did! Mister King, we heard him!" Anna chimed. The king looked at the two princesses, surprised by their outburst.

He nodded ever so slightly before speaking. "Why don't you three go play while the parents have a little talk."

The princesses nodded before each grabbing a hand of Klaus's hands. "Let's go and build a snowman!" Anna said. "Or have a snowball fight!"

"B-B-But! It's in the middle of Spring!" He cried out in protest, cheeks still a bright red.

"Come on!" Elsa said, leading the two to the door.

The two pairs of royalty watched the children walk away, envious of their innocence. When the large wooden door closed, the kings faced each other. "Now…for the real reason we're here."

I was really inspired to write again after watching Frozen so I wrote this up quickly before I have to go to my sat tutor.

Anyways!

My chapters aren't this short usually, it's just a prologue. I write on avg 2k-3k per chapter, so don't get discouraged!

Leave me a review on what you think!
