This story is dedicated to Archer, Gisborne and Robin in the final episode of the 3rd season. I cried in this episode and I feel so sorry for Archer because he lost his whole family on the same day.

The castle walls came to dust crumbling to the ground. Raw explosions still echoed through the wreckage and hollow trees of the forest, Sherwood.

Archer never felt so alone, even though all of his life he thought that he was a lonely child who his parents abandoned for him to fend for himself. But only a few days after he had learned that he had not one, but three other siblings they were taken from him. It was his cruel half sister, Isabella, who was responsible for their deaths. He felt so angry for not having the pleasure of killing her himself.

He walked with the others, carrying his second older brother, Robin, into an opening in the trees. He wanted to save Guy as well, but he knew that there was nothing left of him. There was nothing left of Archer either.

He stopped in his tracks when he realised he couldn't hold in his remorse any longer. Archer let out a cry and fell to his knees. John tried to help him up but Archer fought against him.

'Let go of me, all of you!' he said breathing heavily 'It's my fault, all these years I wasn't there for them, I could have stopped their fighting. My brothers were the only true family I ever knew and now they're gone forever! I didn't protect them from my sister, the son of a bitch! But why is she to blame when I have the same mother, the mother who left me, betrayed me and my own father who faked his death. What can I live for now? When I finally found what care about, but no, it means nothing now!'

'Their blood is on my hands! Blood that will never wash off! I'll have to live with this guilt for the rest of my days or maybe I could end them right now.' He reached for his dagger and placed it against his throat.

'So today will be the day everyone in England will remember. The day when three men bound by blood but separated by our own faults died!'

Tuck stepped forward calmly 'Would you really give your life for no reason in hope to make peace with yourself of would you stand with us. King Richard needs our help while he is away and there is still a fight to be had, and why not, now you really do have something to fight for. Them. And besides we need a leader and you are just like your brothers put together. So join us we have all lost what you have, maybe not in the same way, but we all lost them.'

Archer slowly lowered his dagger. 'I can't lead you, besides how can you even trust me?'

'Because you are family. Not only to your brothers, but to us as well. We know you are worthy enough for such a task, but it is also a burden.' Tuck replied

'This is a burden enough.'

'But it will pass, no one but your sister is responsible neve blame yourself.'

Archer stood again and pulled Robin into his arms. 'I will not fail you, brother.'

He laid their former leader onto a pile of logs the rest of the gang had laid out. Much handed him a lit torch and Archer slowly placed it on the wood. The fire grew darkening the lumber. The flames flickered around Robin body as they all left, too sad to watch.

Only Archer remained hoping that the heat of the flames would somehow wake his brother up but he just lay there as if a sleep.

Archer soon felt a sense of pride that he was needed for once in his life even though he was miserable he knew that he would have to pick himself up be strong for the others.

Robin saw Marian as Guy saw Meg they were all together again, laughing and smiling. They would watch over their friends and they have an eternity to do so. But one day they all will be united again having perpetuity as one.

I hoped you enjoyed this as well as the series. Please R &R.

Love Taylor.
