Stef was always a light sleeper. From the time Brandon was born. At the moment she wasn't sure what she was seeing, Jude was going through the closet slowly and carefully. She thought he was asleep. It had been a long day, with the adoption finalized and the party. She was going to say something before she realized he wasn't going for the safe or anything else. For a couple minutes she watched in silence before Jude accidently nudge something off of the dresser and woke Lena who, after seeing Stef beside her looked around confused.

"Jude?" She asked as she sat up. "What are you doing?"

"Oh, nothing..." he muttered still staring at one of Lena's long shirts. One she usually wore with leggings.

"Do you need to talk Buddy?" She asked again, confused.

"well, no, I was just... can I borrow this?" he askd holding it out for her to see. Stef in the meantime held a hand to her chest and lowered her head so he wouldn't see her smiling.

"Ummm, sure, Jude" Lena said carefully "Wat are you going to do with it?"

Jude looked back at her like she might be crazy "Sleep?" he asked with an eyebrow raised.

"You want to wear my shirt to bed?" She asked as Stef tried not to giggle at the sound of Lena's voice. They both knew why Callie put herself in danger to get Jude out of the last foster house, and Stef knew it was coming at some point. She was surprised that Lena sounded so surprised. She thought it was precious.

Jude stared it or a second longer before turning "Yeah, you know, you said how you kissed Mom and held her hand in the house but not in public, well, I don't think Callie would like me wearing it so I thought that I could wear it to bed?" he asked hopefully.

"Sure Buddy, just... don't wrinkle it ok?" she asked as Jude rolled his eyes.

"Yeah Mom, I'll make sure I don't turn or anything in my sleep" he said as he rolled his eyes, walking out with the shirt draped over his arm.

Lena sighed and laid back down "He's your child, that attitude sometimes" she said as she looked at Stef who's face was bright red.

"Don't wrinkle it? Rally Lena? He's sleeping" She laughed as Lena rolled her eyes.

"It's a $60 shirt, Stef, he could of chose something of your's"

"We both know you have better clothing style than me" Stef smirked and kissed her wife on the lips.

"Can I get another $60 shirt?" she asked hopefully.

"No"
