What I loved about my mother is…

"Her cooking." A smile graced Sasuke's lips. "She only cooked three different things, Tomato stir-fry, Lasagna, or baked ziti." A frown threatened to destroy the small smile on his face, but he quickly shook it off. "My favorite was Lasagna, dad's was tomato stir-fry, and Itachi's was baked ziti…." Sasuke's face fell "I really miss mom, she was always there for me, even when dad wasn't."

"Her smile, dattebayo!" A sunny smile flew abruptly onto Naruto's face. "Also her catchphrase, which was dattebayo." A laugh fluttered out of his throat. "I only met her once, but I really liked her. I wish I had gotten her red hair, it always seems so perfect, but the memory fades slowly each day." Naruto lightly frowns and then shakes his head, a smile returning to his beautifully tanned face. "I always knew there was someone out there who loved me…" A nostalgic look flits over his face.

"Her protection." A gravelly voice says stoically "My mother's death was partially my fault, yet she loved and protected me anyway…" Gaara trailed off uncertainly. "Uncle said she hated me…but how could she hate me but protect me at the same time? My mother….she loves me." A nostalgic look crossed Gaara's face as he thought of his mother.

"H-her c-c-compassion…" Hinata stutters her answer but smiles none the less. "S-she loved all of us, w-whether w-we were, um…S-strong or n-not…" Hinata's stutters get worse at the end and tears well up in her eyes. "M-my mother was a w-w-wonderful and c-c-caring person." At this point Hinata started to cry. "I mi-mi-mi-miss my mommy!" Hysterical sobs echoed off the walls, as Hinata recounted a point in her life when she was loved.

"….My mother was a bitch." A sad smile crossed the young woman's face. "She hated anyone who was different from her, including, especially, Naruto." Pastel pink locks flowed around her head, as she recounted her experience. "My mom wanted me to marry "The Last Uchiha," not Sasuke. She didn't care about nor consider how he was emotionally damaged." Sakura chuckled narcisstically, "Can't say I did either, on both accounts." Rubbing her arm and smiling, Sakura continued. "But I loved my mom because she was the only one who believed in me."

Mothers

They care and comfort,

They believe in you to,

They cherish your light,

And they fight for you.

A mother's love is irreplaceable,

#I love you 3.
