Blaine stood back and admired his handiwork.

"Wow. Isn't that a bit too many clubs to join?"

He turned around to find Marley staring at the sign up board quizzically.

"There's nothing wrong with keeping busy." Blaine chirped.

"Yeah but don't you think you've gone kind of overboard?"

He glanced at the board and shrugged.

"I'll be fine."

"If you say so." she replied and headed to the cafeteria.

Blaine smiled and headed towards the club he was due at today.

"I'm worried about him." Marley told her fellow Glee clubbers at the lunch table.

"So the guy does a bucketful of clubs – so what?" said Jake.

"It just seems like a lot to juggle." she argued. "I bet it's something to do with Kurt."

"Or maybe you're just reading into it."

Britney glanced up from her meal.

"Let the dolphin swim." she announced.

She got several strange looks.

"See!" Jake decided. "Brit agrees with me."

"Maybe you're right." Marley sighed.

By the end of the week however she was starting to doubt it. It looked like her initial assumption had been correct. It seemed like Blaine no longer had time to eat during lunch. The only time she saw him was in Glee and by that time of day he was exhausted. He was barely able to do his job as the "New Rachel".

After another tiring lesson of choreography Mr Schue told them to take five. Marley saw this as an opportunity. She headed towards him.

"Hey Blaine, how are you?"

He glanced up at her wearily.

"Good thanks."

"How's Kurt?"

There was a slight pause and a strange look flitted across Blaine's face.

"He's fine."

"But you're not." Blaine sighed. "Tell me what's wrong."

"Honestly? I just miss him. I knew we'd be in a long distance relationship but I wasn't prepared for him to be so distant." Blaine smirked. "God that sounds so stupid when you say it out loud."

"No it doesn't Blaine, you're not alone." she said, placing a hand on his shoulder.

He smiled.

"I know."

"Just promise me you'll drop some of these clubs."

"No way! Superhero club is awesome!"

"I didn't say drop all of them."

"Well I guess I can already sew pretty well without the club…" he pondered.

Marley stifled a laugh when she realised he was being serious. She hadn't been at McKinley for long, Glee was virtually all she knew when it came to extra-curricular activities.

"Come on guys, let's practise these songs again. Break is over!" announced Mr Schue.

Marley smiled and returned to her place. Job done.
