AN- I want to thank my beta for this , ArtsyChick, thank you so, so, soo much , I seriously gave her a pathetic one shot to work with and with her help it really inspired me and gave me more ideas.

Tell me if you want me to make this into a story in the reviews.

Haru glanced around the room, she still couldn't believe it. All one hundred and fifty three people were here, all looking at her work in a real art gallery. This was what all those hours of community art classes and crying over ruined sketches and not to mention idling dreamily in the paint's section in the local shop had paid for.

This moment, when all eyes and smiles were on her and her artwork only.

It was even worth all those hours watching her mother roll her eyes at Haru's many failed attempts at picking out stitches that had gone wrong. And her mother Naoko certainly was proud, buzzing about the room like a busy bee to boast about her talented daughter.

As she began welcoming guest ,Haru caught her reflection in the mirror , her mother had helped her choose a simple black dress for her, Naoko had tried many times to coach her daughter to wear heels , however many of those attempts resulted in getting out the first aid box, thankfully Naoko remembered this whilst searching for the perfect shoes and bought flats instead of heels. Haru had grown out her hair so it fell in loose curls just past her shoulder, the top half of her hair was pinned down with several clips disguised as pearls , simple yet elegant. Haru took a deep breath and patted down her dress and pearl necklace and started to mingle with the crowds.

Haru began to travel to the back of the room, gracefully accepting compliments as she passed. Haru's cheeks turned a delicate shade of pink as her mother pulled her in to another conversation. Haru know stood with her mother and two men, one was rather round in the middle and short, his eyes would occasionally wonder to the passing waiters and their trays. The man next to him was the complete opposite; he was taller than most in the room and had a fun and joking air to him when he spoke, the only thing they shared in similarity was that they were both wearing black suits. She politely excused herself "No problem chicky." the short one said smiling at her surprised look, where had she heard that before?

One person lingered at the very back of the room, studying the paintings that led to her decision to become an artist. At her approach, the man turned towards her and smiled warmly. When he spoke, his voice was soft and clipped, and tinged with a British accent.

"What's the story of this fellow?" Haru tried to stifle a gasp as she met the most beautiful dark green eyes she had ever seen. He nodded his head toward her picture of Baron, she smiled "I had a friend that was rather found of cats, he liked to dress up like that" Haru gestured to the suit and cane in the picture, he flickered his eyes to her face, Haru fought a blush." the rest except the eyes are from my imagination." Haru noticed that the stranger had startling resemblances to Baron, his blonde hair was neatly swept back and he was wearing a black tux and a pale blue bowtie that complemented his dark green eyes.

Haru's fame to claim was her animal paintings; no one understood the standing cats and the flying eyes in her paintings- yet she was famous for it, Haru hoped that perhaps that the genre of the paintings would grab a certain barons attention or at least the title of the exhibition 'the cat kingdom' and then she might have the chance to meet the cat whom had captured her heart …
