I'm looking for a story that I read a few months ago but somehow lost it. It began with Bella coming over on a ship where she meets Jacob. Then she is sold to Carlisle who takes her back to his home to be a servant. It's some sort of ranch or orchard of some kind.
The only thing I remember is in the last chapter I read she was bitten by a poisonous snake and that the story is set in the past.
