I was listening to an episode one day and I realized that I was crying because of something that Dean said about how his and Sam's lives were. I just thought that I really needed to say this to them.
Dear Dean and Sam Winchester,
You've done so much for us, those people who you fight every day and night to protect. You've lost so many people, good people, people who meant a lot to you. And you mean a lot to us a, those who follow your adventures and cheer you on through the darkness. And words seem so inadequate to tell you what you need to hear, but it needs to be said. Thank you. Thank you so much for fighting those things that lurk in the dark and try to destroy the cushy lives that we live.
And some of us are hoping to someday join you in this fight. To join the army against darkness and fight for the light to protect humanity and all it stands for. Being human is a wonderful thing.
You push us all to keep going, to keep doing the best that we possibly can, and you show us through your actions that, yes, sometimes, it will be hard, we will fall and we will lose, but never give up. When you give up, the darkness wins and that can't happen.
And just know, that if you ever need a friendly doorstep and an open door to a warm house, you are welcome with any of us. We'll have a cold beer and safe home waiting for you. And you are always welcome with us, because we are family.
So thank you. We will keep fighting with you and we will always remember what you have done for us.
