Farewell
She didn't believe her eyes, and she'll never do.
She wanted to understand why god had to put this through.
She know that she won't be depressed,
because her world had already collapsed.
The darkened sky rained, showing its final respect.
Everyone hoped he could have a peaceful rest.
A friend arrived, tried to comfort her pain,
but they all knew, things won't be the same.
She remembered their rocky encounter, also their moments together:
There are good times, bad times; words of confession, and consolation.
They had promise of not leaving each other,
but the reality has no mercy, and there's always exception.
Finally, decision made: she choose to leave this cold land.
She'll stay with the one she love, as long as she can.
Their love-filled souls will stay in the sacred tree.
It will be the symbol of their hearts, which will last for eternity.
Although it made people sad, shocked, and pain in the chest,
but they knew it, this would be the best.
Before they leave this miserable place, they mentally said,
"Farewell, my friend."
