Uncovering Truth

Look deep into these eyes of mine and see what you can discover.
There's more than you can see, always more to uncover.
These eyes used to have a passion for hate and destruction,
Now I see that there's more to them, than just that one function.
I see you and the others and wonder if they can accept my change
Then I think of the horrible things I've done and know that only hate came
From deep within my soul.
There's something deep within me that I cannot contain any longer,
A pain, a seclusion, something very somber.
I pine to tell you about it,
But I know you wouldn't be able to put up with my emotional shit.
But, if you look into the eyes that used to hate you so,
You'll know that accepting me is the only way to go.
Please open up your arms and let me in,
We'd be able to keep out the horrible din,
Of the outside world.
