Yawning I stretch out my back. I get out of bed and head through to the kitchen. I grab a banana and wolf it down before shoving on a pair of leggings and a top. As I change I think about it. Ever since I got here two weeks ago I've developed this weird thing. I can control the elements and not just earth, fire, water and air but I also control the ones on the periodic table like titanium and oxygen. It's weird. I was in the ocean on one of the calmest days ever and I was just resting my hands on top of the water when all of a sudden a huge wave started where my hands were. After that I secretly practiced with my powers and I have found out I control all elements. But then my parents disappeared and all the other adults in the caravan site. So today I'm going to head into town and try find someone to help me. It's been five days and they're still not home, I think this is a report for the police. I have never been normal being an elite gymnast and all but this, this is crazy! I'm only fourteen!
I leave the caravan and start walking towards town, it's not too far and I should be there within a couple of hours. As I begin walking I let my thoughts take me away.
A large noise snaps me out of my thoughts. Yesterday when we came into town it was quiet and nice today it's the opposite. There is crashed cars and kids everywhere. A short distance away there's a kid with dark hair speaking to a bigger group of kids. He looks in charge so I guess I should speak to him.
"Excuse me?" I say to the boy when I'm right behind him. He turns to look at me with raised brows.
"Hi um I'm Summer I was on holiday in a caravan site not to far out of town and my parents disappeared a couple of days ago where is all the adults?" I ask.
"One I'm Caine I am in charge, two we don't know they just vanished and three Diana does she have any powers," the boy- Caine replies.
A dark haired girl steps forward and grabs my wrist. She drops it and gasps.
"What is it?" Caine asks.
"She's a five bar," Diana replies with wide eyes.
"What!" Caine exclaims "How? What is your power?"
"What do you mean power?" I ask.
"Like a thing you can do that others can't like I throw things and Diana can read powers," he explains.
"Well there is this," I say. Out of one hand I make a flame, out the other I make a tiny tornado, I extinguish both and then make a puddle on the ground and a flower grow. I point a hand at a car and melt the titanium before reforming it into a statue of the flower. I also cancel all oxygen for two seconds.
"Nice party tricks little girl but you have more power than me and I am not letting you free I will have to kill you," he explains. He lifts up a car without touching it and it comes towards me. Before it hits me I stop it.
I use the air to stop it flying.
"Oh Caine your power needs air to work and I control air, little boy!" I smirk.
