JPOV.
Walking in behind Severus Snape, a cute girl came in. Talking to Severus about Hogwarts. "I will try my hardest to be in slytherin. But maybe Gryffindor?" "NO" I noticed with a smirk that Severus was in love with her. What a loser. "Okay fine" she said in a bored tone. So I spoke up. "I am going to be in Gryffindor" I made a pose "yeah if you'd rather be brawny than brainy." Severus scoffed.
"Come on Sev lets go". I noticed them walk out. And how when she walked she kind of bounced like this was exiting.
Soon it was time for the sorting hat. Sirius, Remus, And I were in Gryffindor. "Lily Evans" McGonagall called as soon as the hat was on her head it shouted out "GRYFFINDOR" I caught sight of Severus face looking at her with disgust.
She cam and sat by Sirius. As soon as she saw who it was she turned her head. I laughed at that.
4 years later
I was walking through the courtyard and heard Snape call Lily a mudblood, I immediately ran up to her defense. "Don't you call her that!" I said through my rage. Snape got a smirk on his face and said real slowly "M-u-d-b-l-o-o-d" Lily gasped I ripped out my want and shot him a curse "STUPEFY" he went rushing back. Lily turned to me I thought she was going to go to his defense. But she had a smile "thanks James" and then she turned and walked away. And something in my stomach was screaming with victory.
Later that night when everyone was in the common room, I was watching lily. When a girl came up and whispered something in her ear. Lily was looking aggravated. So I grabbed my cloak and went to see what it was.
-Everyday at full moon?" " It's not what you think, He's sick" Snape Scoffed but then I realized it. She was lying to Snape. HA! "Just leave me alone Sev. Go to your death eater friends, you don't need me." " Fine go to your boyfriend" he spat at her with that and walked away. So I took off the cloak and sat there "you okay" I piped up and she sat next to me. "Yep" looking at something far away. Then she grabbed my hand and pulled me back to the common room. And I didn't even mind.

It was the last day of school. "Lily come to my house for dinner?" "Sure". Then we got on the Hogwarts express for the last time.
