Rory was used to being plastic. It felt like the not being plastic part of his life was someone else's entirely. Well someone else's life that he experienced. So here he was sitting in a bar mulling this over. He couldn't even remember why Bars like this one were important in his past life for some reason though, they were. The bell over the door chimed and Rory looked behind him. A man in a suit walked in asking what the date was to the nearest random person, calling himself the Doctor. The Doctor sat next to him and orders a ginger beer. Then the doctor realizes then that Rory himself is Nestene plastic. He explains to the doctor that he means no harm and is from the museum across the street. The Doctor tells Rory that he means no harm either. The Doctor starts to get inebriated and starts telling Rory about his girl troubles and about Rose, everything about Rose in fact. Rory just nods as he remembers that is a symbol for understanding these days.

Then when the Doctor stops Rory tells him "There's a girl named Amy, she's locked inside a box, a box I've been guarding for a little less than two thousand years, when we can get her out we're getting married"

The Doctor asks "Is she plastic too?"

Rory thinks he would laugh at the question but just answers solemnly "No, she's human, I was once human but things happen"

The Doctor nods in understanding and asks "How did this happen?"

Rory tells him "I don't think I can tell you"

The Doctor asks him "Oh, why not?"

The word Paradox comes to Rory's mind and so he says "I think it's a Paradox"

The Doctor finally gets it "Explaining Paradoxes to people is rough, isn't it"

They continued on like that sharing stories (well the ones they could) and the Doctor drinking.
