Blood and horror.
it was deadly silent. the forest didn't have a creature moving and 3 people were moving. one man wore all black. you could only see his eyes. the rest of his body was covered. they were blue eyes. he had a headset and body armor. he clutched a knife and had an AK-47 on his back. his other two teammates wore beginner uniforms. they had a helm, body armor, shin guards, and they had a handgun each. Burst, the man in all black, wondered why he had been sent on such a low rank mission. but he also had 2 untrained soldiers flanking him. Burst thought that he saw others fallowing him but he didn't know why. Burst stopped for a second and his 2 teammates stopped by him. he was looking at his map on SOP. "OK almost to the check point." Burst said quietly. he took out binoculars and looked. there was a temple and there were 2 guards. he took out an operator with a silencer and got them both in the head. they were standing still. they checked it out. there were only 2 guards. suddenly gunfire rang threw the jungle like the cheer of new years. Burst readied his AK-47. "You two check out the inside. remember, aim for the head." he said. his flank went inside. he looked around. the gunfire had stopped for a moment. Burst suddenly ducked. a bullet missed him. it hit the wall of the temple but it made no noise. Burst took a quick shot. he had accidentally shot the man in the head. he saw a few people fighting it out with knives. he ran into the temple. it was cut off in the middle by a wall. "whats going on?" one of the rookies asked. "there is a gun fight out side. stand clear of the door." Burst said. he thought that he knew one of the people fighting. he checked out the wall. it had many decorations. from the way Burst looked at it it showed a story about a giant black creature that would summon hordes of minions. it was quite odd. he saw a place for a hand print. he placed his hand on it. it fit exactly. "what the..?' burst asked. suddenly the wall started to crumple. he collapsed. the team ducked for cover. after the dust had settled there was no rubble. the outside was age worn but the inside was in a good condition. there was a black crystal on a dais. it was thin but long. he picked it up. suddenly he threw his knife behind him and hit a man. he fell back and a bullet hit the ceiling. "that was odd." Burst said. he ducked down and put his hand to below his ear. a second later he got up. "OK we are good to go. there will be a transport to pick us up. apparently the war outside is over. its time to go." Burst said. they went outside and inflated a large silver balloon.
