'Angels are watching over you'

Words I've heard since I was two

Small and fragile innocence

Not yet victim to malevolence

Small frail boy who knows naught

A world of danger, sleepless rot

Suddenly I'm standing tall

As preparing for a galant fall

Staring down, my father's dead

Yet not shall a tear be shed

Standing proud and haughtily

Acting out can't be like me

Sold my soul to save my brother

Like he'd have done for one another

Darkness here and darkness there

Screaming out I breath fresh air

'Angels are watching over you'

Those words I'd heard since I was two

I see the truth within them now

I see him here, I see him bow

He's claimed my soul as his, you see?

For he's an angel, he watches over me
