He dragged me outside of the bowling alley to the deserted parking lot in the pouring rain. It was freezing cold considering I was wearing my favorite black tank top with my red flannel, black jeans, and black boots. He wore a short with weird designs on it, a jacket, jeans that were really low, and high tops. Well, now that I'm thinking about it, he could be cold too. That light jacket isn't gonna give much warmth.
He still gripped my hand and led me to the brick wall of the bowling alley. Then he sudden put his hands either side of my head. My heart is really pacing now. I was caged in to whatever he wanted to say. What did he want with me? Did he know my feelings for him? If he did, would he reject me? Would he want to stop hanging out together? Millions of questions ran through my head.
He stared into my eyes while I averted my eyes away from his. He had a playful glint in his eyes and was smirking slightly. I'm pretty sure I'm red either from the cold or from blushing.
"Miranda,"
He started.
I was really curious of what he wanted to say but at the same time I didn't want to know what he needed to say to me. I'm pretty sure I'm taking in small little breaths of air like I needed it to survive.
"what would you do... If I kissed you?"
He asked.
My eyes widen and I'm pretty sure I turned more red than I was. He just literally asked to kiss me! Please let this not be a dream! But it has to be! My friend, Cammie, really likes him. It would be betraying her, if we kissed.
I was about to answer his question but the exploding butterflies in my stomach wouldn't die down. It almost prevented me from speaking.
"What if we kissed?"
He asked again.
We stared into each other's eyes. His voice was really tempting me. It was so low, smooth, and somewhat... sexy. I blushed again at my thoughts. Despite the exploding butterflies, I had to answer him.
"But Luke-"
I started but he stopped me by put his hand on my cheek.
His hand was surprisingly warm, despite the cold. I'm pretty sure now he knew I was blushing. I'm pretty much as hot as fire right now.
"Do you want to?"
He asked me.
I averted my eyes again. How am I supposed to answer that?!
"Do you?"
I asked him.
"Yeah."
He said as he tore hid hand away from my cheek back to the wall again to cage me.
"I do."
He told me.
Luke leaned in closer.
"More than you know."
He said.
My heart was pounding. Please, don't wake me up.
"I-I-I do too. But we can't-"
I started.
"No, we shouldn't."
He corrected me.
I blushed at this.
"So if I want to kiss and you want to kiss..."
He trailed off.
I watched as the rain came down onto his face and dropped from his face.
"But... we can't, Luke."
I argued.
I shook my head, backing up against the wall and leaning my head on it.
"We... If we kiss..."
I trailed off.
I can't find the courage to speak anymore. Luke smiled down on me. I think I stopped breathing altogether. He leaned in closer, his lips almost touching mine. I could smell the ice cream we had.
"If we kiss,"
He said.
He closed the space between us. His lips were touching mine now. I was shaking either from the cold or from fear. My heart was going 100 beats per second. I was afraid he could hear it. I couldn't find myself breathing anymore. I was holding onto the wall for support. I closed my eyes and just let him kiss me. I didn't know how long we kissed and I didn't know he pulled away.
"You're freezing. Do you wanna go inside?"
He asked me.
I opened my eyes and realized I was standing there like an idiot. I blushed madly at this.
"N-no."
I said.
I looked down to the ground and guess what? I was still red. He took my hand and that practically forced me to look at him. Just then he softly pressed his lips on mine again. I think I want to stay like this for awhile. I closed my eyes and finally kissed back.
