...So...Anyway, I was in class when I thought this up. This is kind of a prelude to one of my new stories(which will be updated at a later date).

So...yeah, not much to say here...except for this: The actual story for this is gonna be legendary(the new word for epic)!!!

Oh, and Otep-Confrontation is my muse for this. I suggest(order!!) that you listen to that while reading this, it really gets you in the right mood to fully get the most out of this little section.

I looked up, just eager for a confrontation. The rain beat sullenly on the cold ground below me. My feet, clothed by the harshness of nature, took me to the battleground. As I reached the giant clearing, I could feel my heartbeat speeding up. Seventy pumps per minute. Eighty pumps per minute. The blood is coursing through my veins.

"Sasuke!" I shouted, cupping my hands around my mouth. There was a faint rustling sound from the foliage behind me. He appeared then, wrapped in the shadow of the looming trees. I threw a knife at him, but he vanished, and his laughing voice filled the watered-down air around me.

"You are a fool, Naruto." He projected his voice, using the falling droplets of water as amplifiers. The sound reverberated in my ears, poking and prodding at the delicate tissue within them. I quietly unsheathed my sword, pulling out my glock as well. I held the gun in my left hand and the sword in my right. This was about to get serious.

I calmly walked out into the middle of the clearing. The rain was still pounding on my head. A bird chirped. A grasshopper jumped. "C'mon, Sasuke!" I yelled, beckoning him with the tip of my sword. "Won't you come out and play?" I taunted, spinning the glock in my hand.

Then, the rain exploded around me. I felt a hand on my shoulder, and a cold muzzle to my left ear. He was standing right behind me.

"Okay, Naruto; I'll play for a bit." I ducked just as soon as he fired, and I felt the bullet snake through my hair. He just smiled. "Just don't cry to me if you get hurt." He jumped on 'hurt'; he rotated 180 degrees to land in front of me. Three daggers flew out of his cloak. Luckily, I was already in the air. I swung down at him with my sword, which he parried with his gun. I laughed and fired two rounds at him. Two holes shot through his cloak.

"You shifted your body?" was all I got out before he punched my jaw. My ears popped from the force of his blow, and I flew backwards into a tree. The freezing bark slashed at my back, and some blood ran out of my mouth. I hung in the air for a few seconds before falling down to the ground. The rain puddles swayed away from me as my body pounded across them. Footsteps penetrated my view.

"Get up. This isn't anywhere near over." came his voice. It broke into my skull like a finger in a trigger.

I put a hand to the bark behind me. "Yeah, that's right." I clenched my fist, and the bark peeled off the tree, lacerating my hand in various places.

"Really?" he smiled at me, then he disappeared.

Before I knew it, six bullets were flying at me. I saw them in slow motion. The rain flew down at them, coating them with a silvery sheen.

"Shit." I said, before leaping up. The bullets crisscrossed under me and hit the tree behind me. As the bark exploded outwards, so did I. I threw my sword and followed its path through the air. I cocked my gun, it was time for him to die.

...Yep. Though, the actual story will be rated M. Cuz for all that's in this, it doesn't even qualify as action next to the story.

Anyway, review...eat a shoe...get some BBQ...I don't know. See you guys(hopefully) later!
