Ray was smiling at Ace looking into his eyes. "Now you have made up your mind... " he said. He spread his wings and it started to disappear, then a dagger appeared in the midst started to float towards him. He grabbed the dagger from it. Then he gets ready in his dragon stance.
"Ray, I'm doing this because... I know that... I... I have my trust in you... I mean I know that you'll come back... and you're an idiot", Ace said. Then he shook his head, hesitating to do this. But then he has no choice, this is the only way to end this. This is the only choice Ray also got.
Ray's tears started to fall from his eyes… for such a young age of 10 he's going to die... and for such a young age he's guardian of the world… "It's time..." he thought.
Ray did the first attack he ran towards Ace clutching the dagger in his hand then he started to attack him... aiming his dagger at Ace's heart. When reached Ace, he jumped and then lands on Ace's back then he attempted to slash him on the back with his dagger sideways. But then Ace dodged he jumped up then back-flipped holding his sword then landing at the back of Ray. Then he stabbed Ray on the back with his sword. The sword passes through Ray's body. Then blood started to drip from the wound
Ray's wings sudden appear on his back again. He knelt onto the ground. Then he looked down then he saw the sword pass through his body then he grabbed the tip of the sword then his hands were wounded. Then blood started to drip from it.
Ace's eyes were white he can't say nothing or do anything. He was shocked in what he has done.
"Ace! Pull the sword!" Ray said. But then Ace didn't react. "Ace, pull the sword now!" Ace got concious by the midst of sound coming from Ray. He shook his head...
"I can't... I can't move… I can't do this no... Ray! You've suffered to much... you're such an Idiot Ray!" Ace said and sobbed.
"In the Name of goddess Althena I am an Idiot but Move or else there's nothing left for me!!" he yelled. Ace moved, he pulled the sword from Ray's back. "Argh!!" Ray Cried. Then Ray fell onto the ground. Ace dropped the sword. Then Ace knelt onto the ground. Then he his eyes went teary. "R-Ray… I'm so sorry…"
"You d-d-on't ha-a-ve to be s-so-sorry, Ace. Gi-give me the s-sword." He said. Ace grabbed the sword then he gave it to Ace. There was an empty socket on the sword. It seems that there was something placed in it. He holds the sword with his left hand then he put his right hand above the sword where the socket is located. The blood from Ray's hand were dripping towards that socket then a circular gem started to form.
Ray dropped the sword then closed his eyes… "Ray wake up!! Wake up you Idiot!" Ace said… Ray's body started to disappear…"Ray? What's happening? Come on! Don't go!" Ray's body disappeared completely and it's like being absorb towards the gem, but there was a pendant left behind "Ray no!!!" Ace shouted.
Ray's voice started to speak… "My power lies in you Ace… Use the sword. You'll discover its power when the time comes. Promise me this Ace, you will protect Lunar as a dragonmaster… Give this pendant to Sarah and tell her that I'm sorry. Even if she doesn't forgive me, please give this to her… I'll see you again Ace"
"Bye Ray" Ace said…
"Don't say Goodbye…" Ray said…
"Ok then… I'll see you again" Ace replied…
