Nobody saw it coming.
Granted, Eileen hadn't expected it either, but being hand-in-hand with Mordecai was certainly…unusual. The blue jay always had the hots for her best friend, whereas she always had feelings for his best friend.
"Hey Margaret," Mordecai would say.
"Hey Rigby," Eileen would say.
And now these two were…a couple?
I'm so sick of unrequited love, they finally decided, both of their thoughts individual yet united at the same time. And then one day when it was just the two of them in that coffee shop, that's when they realized.
That's when they realized that they should embrace the unexpected romance given to them, a romance that before, they're were too blinded to see.
