He floated in the air and watched as the Mew Mews defeated the Chimera Animal Pie had sent to fight them. He looked at the pink one. As a general rule, he didn't like pink, but she pulled it off nicely.
Her cat tail moved just a little, making the bell on the end of it ding.
"Sometimes, Mew Ichigo, I wish…" Maybe she would have chosen him, if Mark had not been there, if they were not trying to take over the planet.
"I wish you would let me…" He'd watched how the humans courted each other. Oh, to bring the girl he loved flowers, chocolate, to make her feel special in every way.
"… but there was never a chance." From the beginning they had been on opposing teams. She fought to defend the planet; he fought to take it over.
"What if I had been the Blue Knight? Would you have chosen me then?" The Blue Knight. He claimed he was born to protect her. "Ichigo."
Sometimes he thought about giving up. Maybe if he wasn't trying to take over the world, she would start liking him. When she got a little older maybe they could get married and keep living here, on Earth. "And see an Alien and a cat-girl have a family." That was an amusing thought. He could leave the service of Deep Blue and spend the rest of his life here, trying to live like a human. Well, as close as he could get. He never understood why humans used those 'cars' when flying and teleportation were so much faster. But maybe the humans couldn't fly or teleport.
"Ichigo, if only you could have been mine."
She was angel. An angel with cat ears and tail. He smiled as he watched her.
"Thinking about that girl again?" Pie floated up to him.
"Of course he is." Tart smirked. "You can tell that from the look on his face."
"They stopped the Chimera Animal. I'm telling you this because you undoubtedly spent more time staring at Mew Ichigo then watching the battle." Pie informed him. "Let's go." Pie and Tart teleported away.
"Mew Mew style, Mew Mew grace, Mew Mew power in your face!" Ichigo chanted as she struck her end battle pose.
"You're beautiful." He whispered. He knew she couldn't hear him. But it didn't matter. Kish smiled as he teleported away.

T.A.R.N.S.: Yeah. I was watching an episode online the other day, and I saw how Kish was acting, and it's like, Poor guy. He can't have the girl of his dreams. So I ended up a story about it. XD
