Loss

Hermione was sad. Very sad. Her parents. Her parents. Oh, how could this happen to her, and why? I mean she knew they were at risk, but…

Professor Mc Gonagall has said it probably wasn't Death Eaters. She had said that the aurors had searched them for magic usage and none had been found, so it could be Death Eaters, but most likely not because they had used the muggle way. Her parent's throat's had been slit. At this point Hermione had fled the headmistress's office in tears.

The next day Professor Mc Gonagall had told Hermione more details when she was ready for them. Her parents had also been robed. So she had figured that they were muggle killers.

Now Hermione was sitting in a table in the back of the library. She let the tears fall freely down her face. She choked, on the big ball of pain in her throat. She let her head fall down in defeat. It whacked the table. Ow! Bad idea.

Then Draco Malfory walked up to her. She put her head in her arms and whispered "Malfory, please, not now".

Draco pulled out a chair at the same table she was sitting at and sat down, across from her.

"What's wrong?" he asked her, softly.

Hermione sighed and said, "my parents were killed, last night, by muggles, not even Death Eaters, no, some of their own kind"

"Sounds bad, Granger" he said.

"Yeah" she said dejectedly.

"I miss them," she added almost inaudibly.

"I miss my mom, too" Draco drawled.

"But my dad is a bastard, so I don't miss him one bit" Draco added.

He smiled weakly at her. She smiled back.

"I had to get revenge, on him, for her, he killed her, you know, so I killed him" said Draco.

She looked at him in surprise. She hadn't known that. She put her hand over his. He clasped her hand in hers.

"Don't you want revenge?" he asked.

"I suppose so" she replied.

Then she added "but I don't know how to find the killers".

"I can help with that," said Draco.

"Ok, great" She smiled.

Draco and Hermione had found them. Their names were Joe Brydell and Michael O'Connor; they were both in a gang.

When Hermione left for her parent's funeral, she asked to bring Draco with, for support. Mc Gonagall surprisedly agreed. They arrived two days early. They tracked down Joe and Michael, and decided to kill them on the second day. Hermione had already agreed to kill them.

It was the second day. Draco and Hermione went to the gang member's house, with their wands ready. They climbed in a second floor window. Hermione saw Joe she had memorized his picture. The tied him up, and just when she was finishing with the second knot, Draco came up the stairs, dragging a tied-up Michael.

Hermione looked in both of their minds, just to make sure they weren't innocent and yelled Advada Kadabra. Two green lights flashed out of her wand, they hit their marks exactly.

Hermione erased the evidence of her and Draco being there, and Draco slit their throats, so people would think the killers were other muggles.

Hermione went to her parent's funeral, holding hands with Draco. She was happy. She had Draco. She had killed Joe Brydell and Michael O'Connor. She had gotten revenge. And made up for her loss.

I wrote this because I found out this guy's grandfather died. And the guy is my friend, I'm sad for him.
