Author's Note: Yup, it's official. I turned into a "Dameron" fan. Cameron & Nina were okay, but they were not as hot as Cameron & Dani. And the title comes from the song "When You Say Nothing at All" by either Ronan Keating or Allison Krauss, but I was listening to the version by the former of the two.

"Oh, wipe that sour look off of your face," she admonished him as she got dressed. He was pouting and he didn't want to, but they both knew that they would eventually be torn apart by Stanton Parish.

Handful
Cameron knows that he'd never meet anyone like Danielle Rosen. She was a once in a lifetime kind of person that had gotten so deep into his skin that when he found out she'd given him a little girl, one adopted by a loving family. And he then knew she'd become his handful, the flame inside of him lit by his little spitfire.

Empty
A blank space was left in his heart where he was able to feel the love that she had for him, a space that he'd never be able to replace with the love of another woman.

The red circle around the date taunted him as he looked over at the wall until all he could see was numbers. "Damn it!" he muttered to himself, throwing down his pencil in frustration. Why can't I forget this, forget her? he thought to himself.

"Will you do your pirate accent?" she murmured quietly as she lies in his arms one night after they had made love.

He cleared his throat and let his voice grow even thicker. "Argh, swashbuckler, don't be so savvy," he said, making her giggle endlessly while hiding the sound in his shoulder.

She tried to dart away from his extended hands, squealing with laughter as the sound echoed through the apartment and he grinned at the way she pulled him close as soon as he stopped.

The burden he was carrying would soon catch up with him, and he knew he should depend on the other members of the team, but how could he when all he wanted to do was blow up in their faces because they didn't fight fast enough to help him save Dani?

Spiritual
Until he'd met her, he'd never attended any kind of service within a church. But Lee had asked for a normal service for his only child, so Cameron had gone along with it.

"She wouldn't want this for you, Cameron. It isn't how she'd want you to live," Nina tried to tell him, reaching out to place a gentle hand on his arm but he pushed her away from him.
