He felt the sting as he was shoved into the wall. He felt the wing snap. He felt the pain cut through his cloudy mind. He even felt the world go black. He mused that he deserved this. He was evil and he was a bad bot. That didn't make this hurt any less. He remember it all so clearly. The first beating to the final. He was always asking for more. But this time, it went too far.
Megatron stared down at the seeker. He raised his cannon one more time and watched as the blast destroyed his final road block. But as the light faded, he felt it before he knew it. He had gone too far. No fancy repairs, no prayers by the bed, no promises to stop would fix this. He had taken a life he never had the right to.
Starscream laid there and in a way he was now free. He was just there. He had been ghost-like for awhile but now we're alone. Who will protect us? Who will be the locked door for us? Before I realized what I was doing, I leaped at Megatron and screamed. I went for the spark. I would stand up for all the times we just sat there and watched. I was going to die but it felt right. I watched as his cannon takes away my spark. Now you have two dead seekers on your hands,Megatron, now what will you do?
Megatron fell to his knees. He looked at them and knew he had crossed the line. He had taken what he had no right to take. He would have to end it once and for all. He opened the door and looked at Skywarp sound asleep. As his spark broke for the first time, his cannon took the final seeker. His reign would never be questioned. Shockwave wouldn't dare and Lugnut worshiped him.
But as the minutes pass, he felt so dead inside. He wasn't a monster, right? He had to teach Starscream. His son had to learn to obey, he had to learn his place. He wasn't a monster he reasoned. It was all okay. He would fight in their names and nobody would be any wiser.
He made his grand speech. He rallied the troops. He would cry inside for his sin. And he would fight on, like a great leader should.
