My first fanfic! *Does happy dance* No flames please!

Beeeep! Beeeep! Beeeep!
The beeping noise was really starting to get annoying.
Beeep! Beeep! Beeep!
Where was it coming from anyway?
Beeeep! Beeep! Beeep!
Must be that stupid alarm clock. It'll go off in a second.
But it didn't
Beeeep! Beeep! Beeep!
Shikamaru couldn't take it anymore. He reached his hand up blindly, trying to find that cursed alarm
Beeep! Beeep! Beeep!
He lashed his hand around wildly until it finally made contact with something. He pushed the object off the dresser and within in two seconds it had fallen on the floor with a loud cracking sound.
The beeping had stopped, so I guessed it was the alarm clocked that had fallen. Great, now I could go back to sleep.
"SHIKAMARU!"
He groaned, but didn't move. Maybe she'll stop calling if she thinks I'm still sleep.
"Shikamaru, I know you're not sleep. What was that sound? Get your lazy butt up NOW!"
He groaned again. Normally, if it was Shikaku calling, he wouldn't have moved. But there was something about Yoshino that scared the crap out of him.
He left his room and walked into the dining room/kitchen, where his nother was cooking breakfast, and his dad was reading a book and drinking what I hope was tea.
He sat down at the table across from Shikaku and laid his head down.
"You still haven't answered my question, Shikamaru. Now, what was that awful noise?" Yoshino said, still facing the stove.
"It was just my alarm clock. I couldn't find it to turn it off, and my hand hit it and it fell to the floor." I answered, "And now that I think of it, I never set my alarm clock."
Shikaku put his book down and stared at his son. "I did. Asuma called and said he wanted the team to meet up at the training grounds in about an hour."
"Great." Shikamaru said before getting up from the table to go get ready
