Nikki was asleep in Iggy's arms. Her head was on his shoulder, her long red curly hair spilled over his arm and chest. Nicole was the newest member of the flock. She was a School experiment that got out and was able to find her parents so she wasn't used to staying up three days straight and fell asleep wile the flock was eating.
Max directed the flock to land in a cave to get some rest.
"Max can you take her for a minute wile I land?" Iggy asked.
"Sure" Max said taking Nikki out of Iggy's arms.
Iggy landed and Max handed the girl back to him. He walked slowly into the cave and sat down against the wall. He leaned his head back and fell asleep.
NICOLE'S POV
I woke up in the dark and I was leaning against Iggy. I looked around and saw Nudge sitting in a ray of bright moonlight. I carefully go up trying not to wake Iggy and walked over to Nudge.
"Hey, Sweetie where are we?" I asked her.
"Oh...you scared me. We're near or in Arizona, we're headed to Max's Mom's house." She answered.
"Cool, what watch are you?"
"Second, I wake Max up next and we leave."
"Go to sleep I'll wake her up, okay?"
"Really?"
"Ya."
"Thanks!"
NICOLE'S POV
Max woke up the rest of the flock, most of them didn't want to wake up. I tried to help but Angel smacked me in the face. So I gave up. I went over to the cave edge and spread my wings every black feather looked like it dipped in white-out, and each wing was about 10 feet long. I jumped off the cliff and flew in a few back flips my hair straightened out a bit from the wind. Then one by one the flock came out and went into formation. I fallowed them keeping a close eye out for anything that may cause trouble.
