Her white dress floated serenly in the endless pool of water, a flow of pure as snow fluff and ruffles surrounding her.
Staring up at the brightly lit sky.
Moonlight cascading off her face, down her neck, her whole body lighting up surreally as if possessed by some kind of aura.
It was all over.

This was her moment.
So, no one noticed she was even there.
She'd make them notice.
Sonia twirled nonchalantly on the library's swivel chair. She wasn't working. She was thinking.
It seemed like she had a lot of time to do that, but still, she couldn't clear her mind. Besides, she liked it. Just thinking. It made her feel good. She never told anyone what she was thinking, she didn't talk much. So, she thought a lot.
'Sonia?' A deep, yet sugary voice echoed through the library.
Sonia jumped. Her heart started pounding. Breathing a little too quickly, she felt herself turning pink.
Argh. Stupid.
Calming herself she spoke...
'That was unexpected.' She muttered quietly and swirled around.
Loud, hearty laughter wafted towards her ears.
Zell.
'Zell?'
'In the flesh.' Zell flashed her a cheeky grin.
This doesn't help any. Sonia flushed deeper. Her heartbeat quickened to an even faster pace.
Slowly Zell's grin faded. 'You okay?'
'Huh?' Smooth, Sonia, smooth. 'Oh yeah uhm, what?'
Now puzzlement crossed the blonde boy's face. The beautiful blonde boy Sonia thought, looking up at him.
'What did you want?' She found her eyes crossing over his tattoo, studying his facial features. He was so perfect.
And he had said something.
"Uhm...what?' Sonia flushed yet again.
Cocking an eyebrow, Zell repeated, 'The book, is it in yet?'
'Oh!' Sonia forced a smile, 'The book. Uh, no. It'll be a few days. I'll let you know when I have it.'
'You want my email then?' Zell yanked a pen off the 5 colour wood stained desk. Sonia could stare at the desk and try to trace over where the rings went, sometimes mesmerised.
There wasn't much to do as a librarian.
'Your email? Yeah, I'll let you know through email...' She laughed weakly.
'Can I have your hand?' Zell asked. He didn't even sound impatient. Not yet. Or maybe he was just really good at hiding it. People were always mad at her. Or just annoyed. Because she didn't have great social skills, she guessed.
'What? Why?'
'Well you I can get some paper if you want but...'
'Oh! No, my hand.' She said somewhat robotically, shoving her hand out at him.
'O...kay...' Zell smiled, seemingly amused. He held her hand. She felt her heart float up into her throat carried by a million butterflies trying to gnaw their way out of her. And he wrote his email address on her hand. Still smiling, he slowly let it drop.
'See you later Sonia.' He winked and jogged away.
'No...running...' Was all Sonia could manage to say.

Okay well this didn't have a cliffhanger like every chapter of my other story (^^), sorry. Uhm, the progress of the story will change a lot. This is like the course of Sonia's life (if you haven't already guessed she's the 'library girl or girl w/ pigtails', she is) loosely based on someone I know's. It gets a lot more depressing. The upper paragraph is the ending put at the beginning as a kind of confusing...thingy.
