Definition #1- a profoundly tender, passionate affection for another person. Definition #2- a feeling of warm personal attachment or deep affection, as for a parent, child, or friend. Definition #3- sexual passion or desire.
That's how simple love used to be. Now, there are several other definitions and meanings for the term. In fact, so many, that the word itself is now a question.
Over a period of time, we've adjusted the annotation to the term to the point where we question it's meanings.
Now, I've got a new question to ask you. Did the heart kill love? Or did love kill the heart?
Here's my opinion...
Eli's POV
A guy. Left alone. A past that comes with so much baggage. Never lost. Not looking for anything in particular. Not looking for anything at all. Just stumbled upon love. Second love. First love. Doesn't matter whichever one. It was unexpected. Unexpected love. She handled the baggage. I helped her. She saved me. And I thank her. Still and forever. The victim.
Love. Something we all should feel every once in awhile. Whether by your parents or parental figures or sibling or spouses or your child(ren) or even your pets. It comes with joys and of course, pain. A difficult and crazy thing. With basics and problems, and all it brings. A death; on which it brings everyone together. A bond; that will last forever. Forever, The murderer.
You'll blame your spouses,
Your loved ones, and even yourself
You'll blame the people who've told you bluff
And don't forget the words that
Seemed to escape your lips
Well, blame your heart
'Cause, love killed it
There's one thing
That's kept on beating from the start
And it's inside you
Hopefully, your love won't kill the heart.
