A/N: Just a short piece I had to get off my mind after the end of the final combat scene.

'Damn it' he thought as he struggled to open his eyes. This was not supposed to happen. Why did he think it was a good idea to stay with that bastard till the end?

To make sure that he was dead and done for?...Possibly

As a mark of respect to a former friend?...Maybe

To look cool in front of servant no 1, emerge triumphantly from the collapsed red tower and have her rush to jump and embrace him?...hmm mm most probable answer

So all of his efforts would be laid to waste if his servants/friends had to dig through the debris and found him passed out. This would seriously hinder his plans with a certain blond haired and green eyed bounty huntress now that he had his body back. Well a minor set back he supposed, because him and her and a futon and no clothes was just waiting to happen, but he would rather have her jump at him. He would have ammunition to tease her for the rest of their lives. He imagined her blushing face and green eyes sparkling with anger as she would try to deny that she threw herself at him.

It was a pleasant thought, but not as pleasant as the thoughts to what he would do to her once they had a modicum of privacy.

The thrill of anticipation made a of excitement shiver run down his spine and he finally opened his eyes. The sight of an open sky with thousands of stars glittering met him.

'what the hell?' he thought to himself. Did the servants dig him out? The distinct lack of the girl mooning over him and Akari fussing over him told him that he wasn't in Mibu lands anymore. He sat up abruptly and found himself in the middle of a grassy plain. "where the fuck, am I?"

As soon as the thought formed, it started to snow. It was still late autumn, snow means he was somewhere very north of the country. Damn sword he thought as he spied the Muramasa blade lying next to him, why did it have to transport him all the way out here. He stood up and picked the object of irritation off the ground. He sensed the weak ki of someone approaching. About time he thought, he needed directions. He set off in the direction of the approaching person and walked a few metres before stopping.

The person approaching was a blond, blue eyed person dressed in some outlandish fur costume.

So clearly not Japanese. He growled in frustration and yelled " Damn you, Tenro!'

The poor person startled by the sight of a red eyed stranger and yelling in a foreign language ran away as fast as his legs could carry him.

Never mind he thought as he started walking in the direction the man ran, there must be more people around. He is going to find out which way Japan is. He had to go back, Yuya was waiting.
