Author Note: This is going to be a Mother's day one take storyline. I hope that you enjoy it. This is a sequel to one of my first storylines that I have ever done.
Character Summary:
Steve married to Kari. Father to their daughter and son.
Kari married to Steve. Mother to their daughter and son.
Emma is the oldest child of Steve and Kari. She is sister of John.
John is the youngest child of Steve and Kari. He is the brother of Emma.
Kari walked down the stairs and smiled when she saw the roses on the table. Steve had took both of the kids to pick up some breakfast since he wasn't much of a cook. About ten minutes later, Steve and the kids walked back into the room.
"Daddy, we were supposed to surprise mommy with breakfast in bed." John said as he sat down on the couch.
"I know buddy but you know what? It's okay. We can always have mommy go sit down on the couch and we get breakfast on the plates." Steve said to him as he looked at his wife.
"Or I can just go back to bed." She responded to her family.
"Are you sure?" He asked her as he walked over to her.
"Yeah, I know that they wanted to do that I don't want to disappoint them." She responded to her husband with a small smile before giving him a small kiss. Steve watched as his wife walked upstairs. He knew that his wife was doing this to benefit their children. They had breakfast as a family before enjoying the rest of the day at the beach.
Steve and his wife managed to get the kids in bed. They decided to watch a movie before heading up to bed. She knew that she needed to tell her husband about something important.
"Steve, we need to talk." She said to her husband.
"What about?" Steve asked his wife.
"We are going to have another child." She responded to her husband with a smile on her face.
"Really?" Steve asked her.
"Yes. The baby will be here in about eight months. We are roughly seven weeks pregnant with this baby." Steve said to her with a smile on his face.
They ended up making love and then wanting to talk about the small stuff.
"When do we want to tell the kids about the new baby?" He asked her.
"Not for a while. I want to wait until we are about 15 weeks pregnant to say something." She responded to her husband.
"Are you sure that you want to wait that long?" He asked her.
"Yeah I am sure." She responded to her husband.
