For him,
It meant the blissful ignorance
That he was an invader.
For him,
It meant stumbling blindly
Through each day.
For her,
It meant killing fake people,
So she wouldn't kill herself.
For him,
It meant hiding behind
His thin glasses.
For her,
It meant crying at night
So she didn't fight her fears.
For them,
It meant eating and sleeping,
So they didn't have to face their problems.
Different definitions.
