And more studying. . . You were invited to Ichigo's house to study with him and help him with a project that you both were well-over done with. You groaned at all the words in the textbook that you had to summarize in a way that you could remember it. Ichigo tried to help you at first, but then you were kind of pulling away from the situation. You were independent and wanted to do things yourself.

So, you were laying on your stomach on his floor next to him, listening to music for a mini break. You were humming and singing and Ichigo was trying to take videos of you singing. You would stop once he would hit the button to record and once he would end the video, you would start singing again. He got one video of you singing that you didn't know about.

A few of Sam Smith songs came on and you were singing to those, not humming. Not In That Way came on, to which you were pleased. This was your favorite song ever since you had developed a crush on Ichigo. You thought that he didn't like you the same way you liked him, so you resorted to music to draw out your anger and sadness. Ichigo wasn't very good at displaying his feelings, so he came at you like you both were good friends, and plus, Rukia is always around him so you could consider them to be dating.

You stopped singing for a moment and looked to Ichigo. He looked to you and smiled a bit. You chuckled a bit before singing again.

~You will never know that feeling~
~You will never see through these eyes~
~I'd never as you, 'cause deep down~
~I'm certain, I know what you'd say~
~You'd say 'I'm sorry believe me, I love you~
~But Not In That Way'~
~You'd say 'I'm sorry, believe me, I love you~~
~But Not In That Way~~~

Ichigo's smile faltered when you finished singing to him. You were only singing to him because he liked it and the song you loved most was on. It seemed to hit a nerve in Ichigo that you were still grinning at him like nothing was wrong. You weren't thinking about it for a while until you realized what you were singing. You exploded in your mind when you realized you were singing to him the way you thought he felt about you. What that means is that you were singing whole-heartedly to him, causing him to think you held no true affection for him.

"Ichigo. . .I. . ." You stopped speaking and immediately dismissed yourself. You picked up your books and left his house almost in tears.

'What the hell did I do that for? What was I thinking!?' You yelled to yourself in your mind.
