Its been 10 years since Cosmo's death and Tails is now 18, and defected from the Sonic team. He's now a bounty hunter, killing both innocents and villians. But one day, Tails is assigned to Kill Eggman, who had been put in Jail a year after Tails left, 10 years ago. but something isnt right...why Hasnt Eggman tried to escape?

Sup guys and girls, I am back! Sorry for going quiet, because of work and school stuff I haven't been able to do anything…sorry for that…but here's a new story, a tad better than my other one. This is all in Tail's POV only. And I'm making it so it'll be that Sonic and Shadow could've saved Cosmo and defeat Dark Oak

Prologue (5 years after Cosmo's death. He's 13 by now)

I walk around my house, looking all around, memories flooding in my head. I pick up a fragment of Emerl's armor and smile at it as I remember the good times he had with me and Sonic…I frown as I put it down. Don't even think bout it, Miles… I grab a bag with some clothes and some toiletry stuff and walk to my lab. As I do, something green catches my eye and I look to see Cosmo's plant. I smile sadly as I caress a petal. I go to the lab and stop in front of the Tornado. I put a hand on the side and rub it as I pull out a green chaos from out the engine. "I'm gonna miss you girl…," I whisper as the lab opens to the runway. I walk out and stop at the edge, looking over the ocean, tossing and catching the emerald in the air.

"Sorry, guys…sorry...Cosmo. CHAOS CONTROL!" I hold the emerald tightly and it starts flashing brilliantly, covering me in a bright light. Soon it goes away and I'm gone.
