From This Moment
By Mara Jade Skywalker

My wife wrote this, its based on her and he thoughts down the aisle. So, we turned them into Mara's thoughts on her way to marry Luke. As you can guess, Analise walked down to "From this Moment", by Shania Twain.

She stood outside the door. The music had begun to play. But, her feet had forgotten how to move. She was frozen. It wasn't that she didn't want this, she did with all her heart, all her being. For some reason, Mara Jade, couldn't find the courage to go anywhere. This had never happened before. Mara had never lacked courage.
Her feet suddenly began to move. As if they were in control and her brain wasn't. As if they knew this was important, and she had to go through with it. She would, she was determined to. Because she loved Luke, and he loved her. She wouldn't break his heart.
As she walked forward, toward destiny, time seemed to slow. Life seemed to flash before her eyes, not just life, but life with Luke. From the moment they locked eyes, to his bold proposal in the water filled cave, every moment was relived in such a short time. And when she reached the alter, she realized, Luke was nervous too.
She stood there with him and he gave her an awkward nervous smile. It took all she had to not laugh, he was so cute. He looked so handsome in his tuxedo, she'd never seen him dressed up before. His hair was combed, not tossled like normal, and the farmboy in him seemed to have vanished. All traces except for that smile.
~You look wonderful, Mara!~ Luke's voice came into her mind.
~Thank you, not too bad yourself, this is a good look for you!~ She returned.
He smiled again! Oh, that smile. The both turned to face the priest, and the ceremony began. Mara's nervousness was a fading memory.

I know its short, but if its too long the meaning is lost!
