Just a Dream

This is just a quick, funny one-shot type thing. Hope you guys like it!

Sho glanced around himself nervously. The crowd was cheering for him as he made his way onto the stage for his big performance that night. He tapped the microphone.

SCREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEECH!

Whoops. Sho turned his head to glare at the background stage helpers on the sides. One of them met his gaze and simply shrugged. The crowd had hushed for a moment but the second Sho turned back to them they let up in cheers again. Sho smiled. He opened his mouth to begin his performance.

AAAAACHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

Oh no. Dang it! Today was going to be a bad day. He could hear the audience chuckling yet the tone of disappointment coming through. He cleared his throat and then opened his mouth again.

Nothing.

Oh no! Had he lost his voice? Wait, wouldn't he know if he had? He sighed into the microphone, causing a loud crackling noise. The crowd began to boo. Oh well, no problem, he had a recorded tape of everything he was going to say. All he had to do was give one of his men the signal.

Okay, so what was the signal again? Hmm…

He waved his hands at one of the men working below him. The crowd along with the man waved back. The man gave him a thumbs up. Sho shook his head and returned the sign with a thumbs down. The man cocked his head at Sho. Pointed to himself and made a slitting throat sign. The man stared at Sho for another moment before scurrying off. Sho smiled to himself. That must have been the sign. All of a sudden all the lights went out. The crowd started to panic and rush around.

Wait, he couldn't see, so how did he know that?

Sho shrugged to himself. Must be his physcic abilities.

"Damn it!" he swore. Hey! There was his voice again, he noted brightly! He waved for one of the men to turn the lights back on. No one saw him. He wondered why. Well then, he would just have to do it himself.

Once the lights were back on and all was in place, Sho signaled for the show to begin. A man in a black cape came on stage. A magician? What the heck?

The magician stood beside Sho and bowed. He pulled off his hat and from there drew a white rabbit out of it. The crowd booed. The magician handed the bunny off to Sho. Sho muttered his thanks. Someone was going to die for this. A carrot was tossed onto the stage. Carrots!

Sho LOVED carrots!!!!!!

Sho smiled charmingly and picked the carrot up, munching on it in content. The crowd continued to boo and more food items were thrown up at the stage. Gosh, my fans must love me! Sho thought to himself, picking up the food and nodding graciously. And then a watermelon was tossed on stage. Hey! I like watermelon too! Hey! Was that Kyoko?

SMACK!

Um … ow? Sho thought for a moment before passing out.

Sho woke up with sweat across his brow. He looked around himself in wonder, his breath coming out hard. He felt himself breath a sigh of relief.

Just a dream. Just a dream, he told himself. He swung his legs over the side of the bed and got up. Suddenly, something caught his eye. He strode over to take a look. Several grocery bags filled with fruits and vegetables lay on his floor. A white rabbit was sniffling among the carrots eagerly. Sho's breath hitched in his throat and he could suddenly hear unhappy cries outside his window.

Oh no…

A/N: Okay, so not that funny, it was just this weird thought I had. And no, truth be told, I'm not a Sho-hater or anything. I admit to not particularly liking Sho but I don't mind the guy either. Sure, he wasn't great in the beginning of the manga but he DID save Kyoko a little while later on. (Sorry if I just spoiled that for anybody.) Anyway, do review … even if you didn't like it.
