Hey everybody! I, the author of The Lost Princess is back. Anyways, this is my second story ever written which is called The Mission! Hope you enjoy the characters as well as the plot! :D

Percy POV:

"I'm so proud of you," Mom exclaimed, kissing my cheeks. "But I am so down I am letting you go."

I was in front of Spy Academy (the decoy name is Joanne High School). I didn't want to go to this school. Not at all. I wanted to become a sports player, and play baseball. But now, I have a new lifestyle. I am forever (now) a spy.

"Thank you dear…thank you for understanding," Mom said, wiping a few tears in your eyes. "You got your brochure, right? Every information is in that brochure, so just read it, okay sweetie? I packed in your schedule for the day, blah blah blah…bye…"

Mom hugged me tight. I always wondered, if she didn't want me to go away, why send me here? But I know the exact reason why; because they want a me to inherit their career. A spy.

"Mom…please…next time just please be honest with me," I whispered.

"I'm sorry I let the information in for so long," Mom said, stroking my hair.

"It's okay…" I said.

"See you later. Send messages back, and come at holidays! But stay at winter. It is beautiful here," Mom exclaimed.

And I was officially inside Spy Academy.

I clutched my backpack, feeling quite nervous. All these people were so…so trained. Why did Mom sign me up at the middle of the year? Why do I have to be a kid who is basically an outcast for not knowing much information?

While I was walking, I accidentally bumped into a guy. He looked strong, and kind of…unfriendly. No, I'm lying. He looked really unfriendly.

"Get up kido…watch it!" the guy said.

"Sorry…I…"

"Guys…let's shove him in a closet. He's that new kid, Percy Jackson, eh?"

"I…uh…"

"What a coward," the guy said.

"Your name is…" I said, letting him get the point for him to inform me his name.

"Bob. Now guys, stuff him in a closet!" And the boys reacted quickly. They quickly put duck-tape on me, and dragged me towards an isolated room. Where is this place?

"STOP!" I screamed. But my voice was muffled. They held quite a good grip on me. What the heck? Why can't they just leave me alone? I'm new. Mom said that there would be friendly kids who would gladly accept me. So far, there's none!

"Percy," Bob exclaimed. All the boys were laughing. "Aw…you're so new, you can't even fight!"

"Sir Bob-,"

"I am still talking!" Bob shouted. The room echoed.

"There is a problem…" the guy said.

"What?" Bob said angrily.

"I see shadows…" the guy exclaimed.

"The shadows of who?" Bob said mockingly.

"The shadows of-,"

"GAAHHH!" I heard another guy scream. I see a blonde hair girl going down from wires. She twirled down. I thought it was some heroic entrance, but no. She wasn't twirling for a graceful start. She gave someone a bloody nose by just twirling.

"Annabeth…get your nosy nose out of here!" a guy giggled. Poor dude. The girl supposedly named Annabeth beat up the kid. He fell down.

"Save me!" Bob exclaimed. What a self-centered jerk. While his crew mates were working hard protecting Bob, Bob was escaping. I couldn't let that kid go. I stood up, and anger shot towards me.

I was surprised myself. I broke the rope.

I ran towards Bob, punching him, making high kicks, and making him slower. Annabeth soon came and knocked him out.

"Get the-," I said. My voice was muffled, and I was sweating badly. And I was dead surprised. When I looked at everybody, they were down on the floor. She just fought eight kids, NOT including Bob. That's strong. You couldn't believe those kids. They were buff, strong, really good at fighting. And I just realized this.

A girl beat me into this.

I was so embarrassed, even though she helped me, I hated her.

"OUCH!" I screeched. She took off the ducktape.

"Sorry," she whispered. "Ignore them."

"You know I didn't need help at all, right?" I exclaimed. It was all about my pride.

"I don't care Seaweed Brain," she exclaimed to me. "You're a newbie. It's fine."

"Well I could've dealt it myself!" I exclaimed.

"Stop being rude, and listen to me," she said. Sweat was trailing down her face as well. Her eyes…her stormy grey eyes immediately made me shut up.

"Perseus Jackson," she said, staring straight to my eyes. I am totally freaked out of her. How does she know my REAL name? "You better shut up. I helped you."

I didn't care about her threat. Instead, I asked, "How on earth do you know my real name?"

"Percy," she said. "Or shall I call you, Seaweed Brain-,"

"Hey! I am not a-,"

"Percy…I am dead serious about this. You better shut up. If you shut up, we both can make it to class, and I can tell you how I know about you…"

"Tell please," I said mockingly.

"It looks as if you don't care," Annabeth exclaimed. "Bye. It wasn't worth my time to even save you."

And she went. I did feel bad. I don't know what my pride has caused. She saved me. But I didn't like her. She called me Seaweed Brain. And she acts like she's top-notch boss. She's such a brat. I don't like her at all. She's definitely not my type. I wish I can live a normal life. I went out, and a tall man came.

"Percy Jackson…are you alright?" he asked.

"Yes…sir…" I said. Were we supposed to call adults sir?

"Gosh, you're hilarious," the man chuckled. "You don't need to call me sir. Anyways, hi. I am Mr. Walker. Anyways, I would like to say, Annabeth told me you were shoved in an isolated closet…"

"A closet? That huge room's a closet-,"

"It's a shed house. It is when if there is any emergency, all the tools are there. Bob…he's such a trouble maker!" Mr. Walker exclaimed.

"Thank you," I said.

"And you aren't dressed in your uniform. Go dress up! Grover will lead you to your dormitory. Rest for today. I'll make Annabeth show you around the school."

"Annabeth?" Why Annabeth? She thinks she's all top-notch awesome.

"I advise you to not think her that way," Mr. Walker said. Oops. Did I say that out loud.

"Sorry…I never realized I said that out in the open-,"

"It's okay. Don't worry; I will teach you all your spy moves!" Mr. Walker joked. "Anyways…I'll tell you why you shouldn't think her that way."

"Why?" I whispered.

"Percy Jackson," Mr. Walker whispered. "You may not believe this, and no one knows. You better not tell anyone!"

"Okay," I whispered back.

Then, he whispered something to me.

And I found out that Annabeth Chase is the top spy student in the whole academy, and is better then most teachers.

That's who I was calling a top-notch person.

It was Annabeth Chase.

Like it? Hope you do; I hope it is not off to a boring start! I hope you like this story; I am going to continue it, so yeah. Anyways, I am so sorry for not promising that this story would be updated once the author's note for The Lost Princess was up. However, here it is now! :D
