THE SUMMER I'LL NEVER FORGET

The stars guide us back home to the place where our heart lies awaiting our safe return, the hypnotic hum a song long for gotten still rings in my ears. Even the wind carries the softest of sound, if you stop and listen you might just hear it, the soft melodies calling out to you from another time, another planet, the whispers of your heart…

I stretched lazily on my bed, letting the early summer sun warm my body from head to toe. Summer break had started last week and I felt so relaxed. The late nights, sunny mornings, and no school for six glorious weeks, I was is paradise. Except I still had a tonne of homework to do, like studying for my science and history exams, finishing math problems and studying for exams. then my English essay, or Japanese essay I guess you could say. You see the assignment is to write a short story about something interesting that has happened to us. Everyone thinks I'm bound to get an A+ since I have such a wild imagination; no such luck. I specialise in fantasy stories- I suck at essays and anything to do with them. That was definately at the bottom of my to do list. I was going to put it off for as long as I can. I sighed in contentment, debating if it would really be such a bad thing if I went back to bed or not, when the phone rang. Groaning, I finally pulled myself from my bed and went and answered the phone.

An hour later I was dressed and on my way to the train station to meet with my best friend Ami. She had phoned me earlier to see if I wanted to go to the new big library in the city and I had happily agreed, knowing full well that I had been meaning to go there one day and get some new books. Ami had said to meet her at the library and had given me directions. My train pulled in to the station and I got on, not realising that I wasn't going to library, well at least not to day any way….
I stepped off the train and looked at the piece of paper I had clenched in my hand with the address scribbled on it.
I looked from left to right then crossed the busy street in search of the path that led to the library, but I was unsure of where to go once the path divided into I was standing there, something soft and fuzzy brushed against my leg. Jumping about a foot in the air I looked down and saw it was just a cat. The cat looked at me and meowed
" Hey kitty are you lost?" I asked and scratched it's head.
" meow" it replied and rub against my leg then ran off
I don't know why but for some reason I decided to follow the cat. it went up one of the left paths and behind some buildings, I had to run to keep up " hey Cat! Wait for me!" I said and ran faster, then suddenly the cat jumped down and seemed to disappear right before my eyes. I frowned and looked over my shoulder, sorry Ami maybe another time I thought before I jumped down and realised I passed straight through solid ground.

So that's chapter one to my new fan fic! I know it's awful I'd be surprised if any one even read it, if you do please R&R? let know what you think.
